this is the best reshade i've tried yet but ColorMAME when enabled makes the game blurry and takes away the high resolution detail that i play at (1440p)
Reshade and ENB is generally a waste of time and effort. Unless it's a really old dx9 title without most effects, it's just an amateur pretending to enhance your experience while in reality it's just as ugly with slightly worse performance. It's a disaster that they allowed it to qualify as a mod for this site. But then again, this site allows certain mods but disallows certain other mods so who the f*#@ knows what they're doing around here anymore. nVidia app gives you all the tools you need to enhance the image if you have an nVidia card. If you haven't then I guess you're out of luck,
On very rare occasions there's someone with a slight know-how that releases a reshade or ENB that actually enhances the game. 98% of the time, you're just downloading crap and fooling yourself into thinking it was an improvement.
I always configure Reshade myself - been doing this for years. After some that, you get the gist and know exactly what you're doing. Most games look too pale. You must be one of those that load random preconfigured setups that were made on different hardware and just criticise its shortcomings instead of setting it up on your own and make it look exactly like you want.
Nice mod but i have a question. Is it possible to fix the flickering shadows ?. I had these even in the Main Game without mods. What i mean precisely is that when i move the Camera the shadows only appear i a certain angle on objects. Or when im far away, the shadows just pop in when im near the Object.
-INSTALLATİON- 1. Download Reshade from https://reshade.me/ 2. Install reshade selecting Red Dead Redemption game and DX12 (second option from top ) and ALL the shaders by clicking twice on the "Uncheck all" button. 3. Download and unzip the preset(s) into your main folder where your ".exe" 4. Launch the game and press "Home" to bring up the Reshade interface, you can Skip Tutorial. 5. Choose the preset in the upper bar on the interface then press "Select", RDR Ultra Graphics V2
yeah, these reshades are so annoying and low effort "mods". They make the game look like photos of some instagram amateur photographer that just adds a s#*! ton of filters and maxes out contrast on each of their photo to make it look "good". It's painful to look at even on screenshots, I can't imagine playing with all of these reshades that are currently available for this game. They all look like just a mix of poorly configured and out of place filters
Man, come on, it's a game from 2010 with the DLSS on. And the DLSS is good here, looks awesome. I'm rocking 300+ fps on 2k all max settings. Felt no performance diff whatsoever. The performance is over the limit, unless you're using a 2012 PC setup. In this case, it's not the mod that is an issue.
The easiest way, which will probably work best for most non gamers people that don't know how to use such programs, is to try running this game on X360, then will be absolutely no stress required to set up anything and this definitely will solve all problem with PC.
That's not bad at all, thanks! I really love the fact that nights now feel more like nights :) Here's what I did additionally: Brightness +1 Contrast to the min Saturation +1 For anyone out there, try my "setup" or your own, cause it may depend on your monitor settings.

Saturation +1
