For people wondering, to get this mod to work with any other mod that uses weapon.ymt file, like 1899 Firearms in my case, here's what you do:
ONLY copy the w_repeater_strap01.ydr file from the RifleHolster folder into your lml>stream folder.

P.S. To make the rifle inverted, go into your main mods' weapon.ymt. Open it with Notepad++. Search: "<AttachBone>ID_PH_RIFLE_INVERTED</AttachBone>" -> Change that into "<AttachBone>ID_PH_RIFLE</AttachBone>"
tried following the post to edit all my weapon.ymt files with notepad but still cant get my rifle to invert im using lasso restored and stash that lantern and also whyems dlc and also rdr1 knife
If anyone is having a problem with the notepad part of the mod here is what I did if you cant find "<AttachBone>ID_PH_RIFLE_INVERTED</AttachBone>" and you can only see "<AttachBone>ID_PH_RIFLE</AttachBone>" change that into "<AttachBone>ID_PH_RIFLE_INVERTED</AttachBone>". thats what i did and it worked.
For me this mod was the only cause of most CTD and couldn't pass from the prologue at all, so after removing it haven't get any issues so far also i recommend to use Bakou's Rifle Holsters as an alternative and do not use AB Scripthook, instead use:
Go into your weapons.ymt from your RDO mod, open it with notepad and search: "<AttachBone>ID_PH_RIFLE_INVERTED</AttachBone>" and change that into "<AttachBone>ID_PH_RIFLE</AttachBone>"
that would make it work without replacing the file tho
guys ii someone doesent know how to invert rifles i will help u. this mod does bring rifle holsters with inverted rifles but u may have other mods with the file name "weapons.ymt" most of the files has wrong info open any weapons.ymt file and press "crtl and f" at the same time then search "inverted" then u should see a section like this> <Item> <AttachPoint>WEAPON_ATTACH_POINT_RIFLE</AttachPoint> <AttachBone>ID_PH_RIFLE_INVERTED</AttachBone> <FallbackAttachBone>ID_PH_RIFLE</FallbackAttachBone> <WeaponBone>WEAPON_ROOT</WeaponBone> <HideWeaponsAttachedHere value="false" /> <HideAIWeaponsAttachedHere value="false" /> <ShowWeaponWithoutMetaPedAttachTag value="false" /> <DualWieldLockedAttachPoint value="false" /> <TryToHorseHolsterWeaponsCreatedHere value="true" /> <TryToVehicleHolsterWeaponsCreatedHere value="false" /> <UpgradeFromAltHolsterWhileMounted value="false" /> </Item>
so what u want to do is delete the "_INVERTED" text in the second row of the info. it takes u like 10 seconds if u know how to do it and make sure to do it with every single weapons ymt file u have.
i tried to open weapon.ymt it wont let me it keep sending me like to will you like to "sercah this in miscroft store" i cant do it because i gave up and delete the mod.. Please help?
it took me almost whole day to figure out how to MAKE the rifle barrel pointing downwards, finalLY I'VE FIGURED IT OUT. FOR THOSE STILL HAVE ISSUE REGARDING "<AttachBone>ID_PH_RIFLE_INVERTED</AttachBone" check the following
BEFORE DOING THIS BE SURE TO MAKE A BACK UP COPY
1.OPEN LML folder SEE WhyEm's DLC folder open it 2.LOOK WEAPON_REFERENCES folder open it 3.THERE will be at least two sub-folders with numerical file name now\ 4. OPEN the first the very top folder, inside you will see 4 files and from here you will see "weapons" file OPEN IT. i used MICROSOFT VISUAL STUDIO to be able to edit the file. 5.once your inside "weapons" file press CTRL+F a search box will appear on the upper right corner if your using microsoft visual studio like mine. 6.in the search box type this <attachBone>ID_PH_RIFLE_INVERTED you'll be able to check now if the said parameters see below.

Dude I only have 3 file options after the first part of step 4 (opening the file with the numerical name). Those files are "viptextures.ymt" "weaponarchetypes.meta" and "weaponcomponents.meta" A file just called "weapons" doesn't exist. I tried using ctrl+f to find the bit of code you provided but it's not in any of the files.
finally got this mod to work. tried downloading it awhile ago but messed everything up and gave up on it. got a bunch of different mods and a better understanding of how modding works in this game so had a come to jesus moment when i came back to this mod due to noticing my rifle was stuck upside down lmao. if anyone needs help then literally just refer to the pinned comment. if you search in your rdr2 file for "weapon" and find that file or weapons (make sure it's YMT/looks like a blue notebook) then choose which holster you want from this mod and open it up until you get to "w_repeater_strap01". move that file into your stream folder in lml (red dead redemption 2->lml->stream) and search for that weapon/weapons YMT file. right click on the file and select open, then click on edit, then find. copy "<AttachBone>ID_PH_RIFLE_INVERTED</AttachBone>" and paste it in find. when you find it then delete "_INVERTED" and save the file. you should be set. if you need help or are more of a visual learner add me on discord @bonefranswah
pretty sure he deleted my last comment from days ago but holster strap just doesnt show up in general. Redownloaded and still nothing, took the mod off and the straps there like nothings wrong
