Also there is a version that replaces the pre order horse FOR FREE AT THE START !! BUT these mods are NOT compatiable with Red Dead OFFLINE !! They both edit catalog_sp
Hello, no matter how hard i tried the mod isn't working for me, i just put the folder into lml folder and the horse won't spawn. Someone can explain it to me, is i have to do something more for having it, if yes, explain me steps my steps please ! Thank you for reading
Not the modder but easiest way is to: 1: Make sure you have the latest Lenny's mod loader and asi loader installed 2. Place all the files from the "ModLoader" folder including the "lml" folder into the main directory (Where RDR2.exe is), don't place the modloader folder in otherwise it won't work 3. Place the "ModManager" folder from Lenny's mod loader inside the lml folder 4. Place the "restoreliverchestnut" folder in the "lml" folder so you have both files inside it installed too, same with other mods that require Lenny's Mod Loader 5. Open up the Mod Manager (You may need to go into properties and change the permission on it to give full permission and access) and save your game onto in the settings tab in the game's location, it should open onto that tab 6. Open the tab that's one up from the settings tab and click on the box with a + symbol inside it and select the "restoreliverchestnut" folder and press the enter key or click on "select file" and the mod loader will install the mod into your game so you should get a "downloader" folder with the mod folder inside 7. Close the mod loader and open your game to see if it's working. Also make sure you have the latest dinput8.dll and/or version.dll installed in the main directory too. You can get these from Alexander Blake's script hook (dinput8.dll), lenny's simple trainer or asi loader (version.dll for both of these) for version.dll though I recommend using asi loader rather than lenny's simple trainer as that can be a bit buggy and can be known to crash the game sometimes. This is how I have got any mods I used to work that require lml. Hope you get it sorted and enjoy the game
Tbh 75% of what you said was completly done successfully, because i use a mod for Tattoos on character so never got a problem on this, i may be fixed some things i haven't done yet lol, so thx again for the tips. But... it still ain't working, i'm chapter IV and no horse looking like Boadicea spawn on the stables. Maybe i missed something ? For any version of asi loader or version.dll i have already took the last of them. So that's ain't the problem, i had a free horse (in chapter 1) in Valentine's Stable, a thoroughbred if this one is called like this in english (Yeah cuz in my language we say "Pur Sang" means "Purebled") that i killed (by "accident" lol) for having another free space into my stable.
Anyway if you have any clue just do not hesitate to respond to me ! Thanks again for the help, take care of yourself !
My apologies, I misunderstood; I was looking at the Ardennes. I'm in an eternal Chapter 2 game and haven't unlocked the MFT yet. Please disregard my post. I'm having the same problem as another poster. When I go to the stable in Scarlett Meadows, the horse for sale has the right mane and tail color, but the body is pink instead of deep red.
i dont know if your point is for the horse to be acutally a liver chest nut but it looks nothing like the one in the game files its not even red only the tail and mane is the proper color
Does it look different in your game or something than what's displayed in the mod pictures? That's the coat, and the name the game gives it. Any grievances with the design has nothing to do with me. All I did was restore it.
basically what i did i put the restore folder in my lml folder enabled in with the mod manager but hte amber champaigne appears like a darker color of its own coat with pink scars that look like thunders on places and just the red color u can get on the tail and the mane i spawned it and went to the lemoyne stable no diffrence
wait i read that again it makes no sense you are saying it "replaces" the amber champaigne mft but it doenst look properly my question is under restore do you mean something like make the actual spawnable with a trainer model acutally work in stable or ?
Liver Chestnut was always spawnable with a trainer. This replaces the MFT in the Lemoyne stable, since before people had issues with being able to stable and save the horse because it didn't "exist" naturally in vanilla.
And what do you mean it "doesn't look right?" What exactly does it look like to you?
the normal coat of the horse except its a little darker and instead of spots it has pink cuts basically a darker color with pink thunders on the horse the mane and the tail are red but not the same red as the liver chestnut mane and tail color but the normal purchaseable red
I got it to work differently with Rampage Trainer. Spawned the Hungarian halfbreed liver chestnut and edited the stats to my preference. Saved the Horse and named it Boadicea. Loaded the saved horse and hitched it to camp in Shadybelle and saddled it from my old horse from Valentine. Worked perfectly. Hope this helps peeps having trouble with compatibility with WhyEm's DLC.
I have tried to install this several times but the coat does not change at all . I have the ultimate edition but from my understanding that’s not needed as a requirement . When installing do I not put the two files downloaded into the stream folder, instead of the folder itself going into lml area?
No, there’s an install.xml inside the “restoreBoadicea” folder so you don’t use the stream folder. You just put the folder that’s inside the .zip inside the /lml/ folder.
The end result should be /RDR2/lml/restoreBoadicea/install.xml and catalog_sp.ymt
