LockedStickyIt would be interesting for you to comment on why you add/delete mods (mostly delete tbf). Been following your suggestions for a bit now and have found some great mods - but when checking the changelog I always wonder your reasoning for making the changes.

Does it mean I need to instal only Patch from FILES section and nothing else or do I need to install original mod first? -
Anyone experiancing a bug where Arthur is not wearing a hat at the start of the game anymore. Seems to be a problem with the Non-Sticky hats mod if remove that file he has one. Wondering if I am the only one with this issue.

I was able to successfully install most things in the guide (some mods I ignored simply because I don't want them). The despawn issue is hit or miss, some trolleys in St. Denis have folks in them, others do not. It takes a while for a train to come by but when they do come, its either security guards or passenger train with folks in most carriages. Is this normal or is my despawn/game sound broken?

The spawn issue is a weird one to diagnose.
I would look up "red dead redemption 2 chicken run" by Chunk (another modder on the nexus). They have an excellent video on how to test it and diagnose just how broken your games spawns are.
That being said, I've installed the mod list with all but one or two mods (controller, so none of the keyboard ones, though it shouldn't matter really). The spawn issue seems to be not a problem, and generally most mods don't impact it (or do so at an irrelevant level).
The chicken run will really tell you how bad your game is. With this setup you should hit all the low priority spawns. Also, yeah a few trams will have no passengers sometimes even in vanilla, and trains are just not a great way to check it. They're not reliable enough in vanilla to check in a modded game. But the chickens and st Denis checks are, as those are consistently spawned and are also "low priority" spawns and are the first to to when you're having the spawn bug. -

- I gotta know why ingame world sounds only mod is on the list if it doesn't work and hasn't worked for what seems like a few years (and your google sheet has no comment on it not working)
- If you're gonna reference your google sheet as a place of info to see all the mods that are removed and why, you should try not to make comments that are so vague that they only make sense to you and also comment every mod. I found it very challenging to interpret alot of your sheet personally. (I also didnt know how to see what the symbols meant for a while)-
I finished installing and everything is working fine so far, but wondering, why is ped damage overhaul in your sheet but not listed as a mod that you removed and not on the list of mods I need to install?

Somehow all the weapons in the gunsmiths are unlocked from chapter 1, I can't for the life of me narrow down what mod is doing this. Please help if you know?
Idk if it's intentional for the list, but I personally feel like them all being unlocked at the start erases a core part of the games progression. Why use any of these other guns if I can just immediately buy my favorite pistol..... -

Kudos for such elaborate n painstaking effort to maintain this Definitive Mods list for us the PC Master Race :)
I followed ur latest list 100% and all mods are working as they should.
But the Missing Trains/Missing NPC in Trams bug issue is unfortunately present in my modded games. I only have the same mods as the latest list as of today. Nothing more, nothing less, with the all patches in file section. And loaded in Modmanager as section 10 instructions.
I am playing in Epilogue, fresh game, as John, with all mods installed.
Qns: Do you have the same Missing Trains/Missing NPC in Trams bug issue ? -

Do I need A.E.M or just the heavier bodies file?

just to let you know the following as well, the animations are not working for-
smoking mod and gun tricks
I can see the gun tricks menu ie select 1-4 but double pressing tab wont start trick
smoking says I need to have the frame work online dls etc or the one from this list which i have already! - someone on the smoking mod chat talked about needing another re pack but unsure what this means -
is anyone else having issues where the screen starts to flicker in white in game?

I did just encounter that. I'm on version 10.0 of the modlist. it went away after i reloaded the save. not sure what causes it

VESTIGIA causes this, sadly. A few years back I only had VESTIGIA and no other mods because I wanted a vanilla playthrough with better visuals, and the flickers occurred with just that mod installed. It's never been fixed and I don't know what the real cause is but it's random and passes after a short while or when reloading

Thanks for the info. I'm going to try out the Vestigia 2.0 beta from the mod authors discord and see if that helps at all.

How can I delete the '<-- Death cam duration -->' in 'Patch (camera. ymt)'?
