For those wanting it to work with mods like why ems and triple e which use catalog_sp, first buy all the items from that mod so its in Arthur/ John's wardrobe then download this and make it top priority(at bottom of mod manager). You won't be able to buy anything from the whyems wardrobe at the trapper anymore or whatever mod you downloaded but youll have the modded clothes and such in your wardrobe at camp.
I'm having a really hard time making this mod work, I have the current version of ScriptHook installed, I have LML and I have ASI loader. I extracted the file into my lml folder but I still can't get it to work. I'm unsure what I'm doing wrong.
Try opening mod manager and install the mod using that, it should load it into the game. Of course make sure you aren't using any other mods that change catalogue_sp, and make sure you've done Hosea's hunting mission for the stable, this mod won't work before this mission since the horses only change to the stable exclusive ones during and after it (since you can unlock the stable before it if your horse dies, but it only does the more common horses). Hope you manage to get this issue fixed. And thanks ReaSylvia for another awesome mod, love being able to access all the stable exclusive horses as Arthur
I'm not sure if I understood but every stable only shows three horses (the same three that would show in a vanilla game), this mod only changes *when* those shop horses are unlocked.
Ah gotcha. I thought it would show all breeds. I have the three breeds showing indeed. Good to know it works as it should. Do you know when the breeds chance? I played for a couple of days but the same breeds keep showing up in Valentine.
I found a fix, overrwrite catalog_sp from this mod with the one in red dead offline, if your using whyems dlc with it too then your better off creating a whyems red dead offline and going into the red dead offline folder replace the catalog_sp and then load it back in and it will work
I think I may be able to help. If you have red dead offline, do what KeeganKraft said and use Lenny's mod loader (LML) to overwrite the catalog.sp file from this mod with the one in red dead offline. RDO is a vastly bigger mod, but the two don't modify the same things, so you can overwrite this much smaller mod with that one while maintaining the functionality of both. If you have WhyEm's DLC, same thing goes: install both mods, then use LML to overwrite the catalog.sp file from the shop horse's unlocker mod with the same file from WhyEm's mod.
As for "creating" a WhyEm's RDO and replacing the catalog.sp file, I'm not sure. The first part may be referring to using "WhyEm's DLC Red Dead Offline Edition" in the optional files of the WhyEm's DLC mod page instead of the standard edition, but you should have been doing that already if you have been using both mods. The latter part of KeeganKraft's instructions I have no idea on; I would try overwriting with LML as described above first before replacing a required file (?) in a much more massive mod with a file from this one, but that could be me misunderstanding the first part about "creating" a combination of the two mods. (If by 'combining' them it makes having the catlog.sp file in both WhyEm's and RDO redundant then it might work to replace the file in RDO with the one from this mod, but I don't know what they meant or how to do it if it isn't just using the merger from WhyEm's optional files, so I'm hesitant to suggest trying it.)
Either way, I'd experiment with it and see if you can make it work *without allowing the game to save while you experiment*. Dependent on what part of the story you're in and what you're doing, the game might autosave for you, so if you haven't completed the game yet, check that it hasn't made any new saves before you close the game. Hope this helps, good luck!
@MHWboio I just cant get this to work. I've tried every variation in the mod loader, i've tried overwriting each file, but only one or the other works. Do you have red dead offline or shop unlocker lower in the order? and which file is marked with overwrite?
Rose grey bay Arabian in Blackwater is closed in chapter 3, is it by design, or I've messed up with the installation? (Lenny mod loader was used, new game wasn't started)
Well, that surely is strange. What do you mean with "closed"? Is it NOT in the stables at all or is the purchase option greyed out? Please provide more information about your issue so I can actually look into it and verity if it's my mod causing issues :)
There's no option to buy any horse in Blackwater, Saint-Denis. Also, you mentioned Brindle Thoroughbred is closed in Strawbery until chapter 4, but I'm in ch.3 (Clemen's, Rhodes), and it's unlocked. So I don't understand what is going on.
All horses should be available for purchase in early Ch2 and onwards. I have never seen that error in my life. I suggest reinstalling making sure you follow the instructions carefully. If you still have issues, please use my support mail to receive personal assistance ^^
[Edit: I did a quick test, I loaded an old Ch3 save and the mod was working as expected]
Maybe it could be caused, because of .rar file? When I downloaded it and tried to unpack, the message was that the archive was corrupted, I thought that the problem was on my side, and unpacked it with an online unpacker.
You are a miracle! I was just starting a new game and was wondering if it is possible to someway force horses to spawn at stables before having to wait for chapter 4 or the epilogue, when I ran into this magnificent mod that does exactly what I wanted. Nothing intrusive, just a mod that unlocks horses to buy early, not messing with anything else in the game ( I hope). I would have paid 2000 in game dollars for a gold or dark bay turkoman lol and was even trying starting bounties to get lawmen to spawn with these horses, but that was patched long ago. Thank you so much for this amazing mod, you deserve kudos and high praise, man!
Hello! Can you do a video how to download this mod? Ive done all the instructions like placing the folder with the catalogue files in the file downloader and it still wont work (yes i have all requirements and none of the mods i have interfere)
Installation process is rather easy if followed right, are you sure you followed all the steps correctly? If the answer is yes, then you can contact my support mail and send screenshots of your lml folder, stream folder and main directory ^^
I downloaded the mod, and i unzipped the folder keeping the folder that has all the coding for the mod and i put it in downloader, i go over to a stable and its still not working (i also tried using the modmanager lml but that doesnt work either) and i know none of the mods I have interfere with this mod as none of them have the catalog.sp
I did still doesnt work, I also seaerched up catalog.sp and i found a few mods in there that used the same file and deleted that file and the mod still wont work.
Let's not clog the comments, please send me a message to the support mail (you can find it in the description) with the screenshots that I said in the first answer
Sorry for cluttering up chat but I found out I had to make a new save, anyways thank you for helping (you dont need to respond and ill be deleting this post shortly after)

The author has locked this comment topic for the time beingYou extracted the FILE. You need to extract the zip folder somewhere and copy the folder called 'Shop Horses Unlocked' to lml.
The file on its own won't work. You need to copy the folder, making sure both the .ymt file and the .xml file are inside.
But thank you all the same 🍕
Thanks but no thanks.

Wait so this only works on a new game? This can't work if installed mid-playthrough?
