Version 2.0 for whatever reason keeps getting FALSE positive Anti Virus reports as a Trojan file,

It is NOT a trojan file

You can tell windows defender to stop marking it as such easily when downloading it

Any posts spreading misinformation will be hidden

If all the praise in the posts section and the number of downloads as well as endorsements aren't enough for you....

I have months of documented work on this mod, I can show you the code if you seriously think there is an issue with this file.

    AND

The mod page says it is safe

    *EDIT

If I need to warn you multiple times I will simply ban you from my mod files
Don't like my work? Fine but don't try to defame me, you won't be missing out anyway

What this does is automatically add cut dialogue while in combat, but what i want to know whenever you antagonize someone does that add the cut dialogue too?

It's an ASI file. Just drop it into the folder that the RDR2.exe is in.

now i know what im doing, this is obvious to me but when i first installed a mod, this would make me mad lol
most people still usually say at least drag and drop to game folder though.

Download Scripthook from Nexusmods or Alexander Blade, copy and paste the files in the folder into your RDR2 main folder, download this mod and copy and paste the files in the folder into RDR2 main folder, simple. (if you don't have one already you need an unpacker for this, here's the link to one - https://www.7-zip.org/download.html download this then you can right click on files to unpack folders with 7-Zip)

Not sure  if you're still having this issue but it may help others who are in your situation:
If you downloaded the game through steam it should be in Programme Files (x86) > Steam > steamapps > common > Red Dead Redemption 2
If you downloaded it through Rockstar it should be in Programme Files > Rockstar Games > Red Dead Redemption 2
If you downloaded it through Epic Games Launcher it depends between users but is either in the Epic Games Launcher folder in Programme Files or in the Rockstar folder.
      Hope this helps :)

modding is pretty simple homie you literally, learn what main directory means. download requirements and then download mod.

@HotDog915 actually no, you forgot that you need 7zip or winrar from the most shady lookng website imaginable and then need to know that right clicking in fil explorer now has new options etc etc

ye it is simple, but its not intuitive, it might be easy to do but it seems impossible when you dont know what to do

@Flamingowithtophat idk about winrar but 7zip doesn't have a shady site, a lot of utility programs are hosted on sites like this. plus I'd argue you'd be going too far ahead trying to mod a game if you have to learn how to work with .7z or .rar files and using the file explorer, its computer 101.

as for those who have troubles with modding for rdr2 specifically:
      - anything that is just an .asi files means that its extracted to the main directory of the game (where RDR2.exe is located).
      - you need to have ScriptHookRDR2 so that it can load .asi files into the game (install instructions are there but its the same as an .asi file, you just put them in the main directory where RDR2.exe is located).
      - IF the mod doesn't contain .asi files but just folders and other various files, I'd recommend looking into Lenny's Mod Loader as it simplifies the process as you'd have replace files manually otherwise

nah 7zips website looks so crazy outdated, its confusing etc. its also not computer 101, many people will never need 7zip, many people dont mod games, many people dont even use their pcs to play games

If it is an asi, ini, or reshade file then throw it into the root directory, if it is inside an "LML" folder, then that's pretty self explanatory. (That is if you use that mod loader, of course) If its just one file, then it could either go into the LML folder OR the RDR2 root directory, but if you want to be accurate, open the mod folder up. If it says something like "YMAP" or "XML" then it is likely going to go into the LML folder. If it says "Meta" or "Dat" it is probably going in the root directory. Hope this helps!

Can anyone confirm if this works with the latest version of ScriptHook v2?
I was using AB's old ScriptHook, but updated to ScriptHook v2 due to some issues with AB's ScriptHook.

I don't know people are saying I had no problems except lines playing during missions I mean I skip cut scenes sense I played the game 6 times I don't really care about the scenes no more.

    I have a suggestion:

Automatically disable the combat lines during missions.

That's exactly what I want too, because it doesn't sound right when Arthur is saying all those lines when he has tuberculosis or when he's in a stealth segment lol!
