      idk it just didnt feel right to be in the same mod page as an RDR1 style mod, since there was no such gun in RDR1. If I do do it again it would be on its own mod page

      Hi. This mod was made to resemble a pre 1964 Winchester. There was a bit of a modelling mistake on my behalf though. I initially framed the model with a post 1964 production of the Winchester 94 before I knew it was a modern production so I then had to tweak certain design elements to make the weapon resemble its original production counterpart.

    Is there any way to use the mare's leg variant for the munitions merge?If there is a way, will it mess with any of the other guns in the merge? And If there is a way, how do I do it?

      There isnt a way at the moment unfortunately. I dont really know how the new system of rpf packaging mods works.

      It would be literally the same process, the only additional work I would be doing would be changing the weapon's animation lock up hash in weapons.ymt to the Lancaster's, so that the repeater wouldnt be using the Litchfield's muzzle loading reload animation. The main reason I havent made any of these repeater mods replace the Litchfield is for the sake of continuity, and for the sake of encouraging more people to download Munitions. I have said this same thing under another one of my mods but ill say it again, it would be strange if I suddenly decided to replace the Litchfield now and specifically for the Winchester 94 mod when I havent done the same for the others.

      Munitions is sort of encouraging people let those things go, hence why there are no merges. WhyEm's DLC and EEE are responsible for a lot of heart ache when it comes to weapon modding (since they use weapons.ymt for whatever reason). I have abandoned a couple projects because I knew no one would want to sacrifice their WhyEm's or EEE for a singular weapon mod.

      there is a merge for whyem,eee and munitions but it hasn't been updated for the new munitions update. its nice that people like me can still use most of the munitions guns at once while still having whyem and eee.

    Great mod man, but would there be an easy way to change mare's leg replacing lancaster repeater to replacing volcanic pistol (kinda similar lever mechanism)? I would love to have two modded guns at the same time + use mares leg more as pistol than a rifle (holstering, dual wield etc.). Thanks in advance!

      Making the Mare's leg a replacement of the volcanic pistol was something I was considering originally. There were quite a few complications though, and it never happened. The aiming and reload animations looked strange, the cocking animations only looked good when hip-firing and it didnt really fit the pistol holster well.

    Great mod if u could, could u make the barrel a little longer like three options the one u have now which I think is 16 inches then longer one like 22 inches then a really long one like 26 inches pls

      No. If I ever revisit this mod someday then maybe. However, Winchester repeaters were always built in on of 3 categories, Carbine, Rifle, and Musket. Simply elongating the existing barrel wouldnt make much sense for a Carbine, so I would have to remodel certain aspects of the weapon to make it look like a Rifle.
