    This comment section is killing me.
    Anyway, planning on downloading this mod (/horse overhaul) once my current playthrough is done.
    I've always found it peculiar that geldings aren't an option in the game. Feels a bit unrealistic.

      My friend, who doesn’t know much about horses, was like “the horses in this game are so realistic, it’s like real life”! Poor guy was so disappointed when I cruelly smashed his fantasy, pointing out things like the lack of geldings, breeds that didn’t exist, and annoying inaccuracies about the animations (to be fair though, I’ve yet to see ANY game get horse animations totally right, and RDR2 is up there with the best).

    Poor geldings always get forgotten! But to me it’s weird when all the male horses are stallions. Love mods like this that add that bit of extra realism to the game. 

    On another note, the horse spooking mechanic is really awesome to see in a game (instead of the usual robot horse-motorbikes). How cool would it be if Rockstar had included geldings as well as stallions, but the stallions reacted to mares? So there is an incentive for players to ride geldings, while the stallions might have more strength/health or something, and larger crests/more muscling on the models. RDR3 maybe 😛

    Why would I ever dl this?? Shrinking balls are the only reason I play this game!!!!

    This is so cool! I never had an issue with horse balls in the game but it seemed odd for there to be so many stallions around.

    This only works for newly spawned in horses, right? Because my horse still has a bean bag.

      No, make sure that the ydd is in stream and that lml is working properly. If you're using the "Geld Most Horses" file, then only horses that use p_c_horse_01_hand_000 inside their ymt will be gelded. If you're using "Geld Some Horses" then only horses that use mp_horse_01_hand_000 will be gelded.
