Red Dead Redemption II is a game that: 1. Normalizes extreme violence and mutilation against men (the gelding threats and jokes in chapter 2). 2. Makes you interview famous gunslingers, making all of the men appears as idiots and makes you kill them, while makes the single one in to a complete Mary Sue legend. 3. Makes you drive around a wagonful of feminists to parade around the streets. 4. Has a cross-dressing misandristic Mary Sue be a central character in many missions, especially in Epilogue. 5. Constantly tries to portray women as equal in late Wild West era (which was not the case in reality).
I'd like to appreciate the author of this mod. He is both a genious and gigachad. This game was not made for pink-haired individuals with hazy thoughts inside their heads. The very matter of this game was to escape from nowadays routine and problems back to the good old time of freedom, although dangerous time. Such character as Sadie would just be nonsense in the the world of RDR 2. They would have quickly ended up in jail or just died in the wilds, as that old world was cruel and too harsh for any women. It was men who made this world safe for lonely women and it was men as well who gave those women opporyunity to become prosperous in this world without men's help. We have to remember it, ladies and gentlemen, players and mod-creators.
Personally I liked Sadie but this is for the people who don't like Sadie which I respect the opinion but I just want to know why. I'm not hating or anything btw.
Sadie is a Mary Sue, in Chapter 6 Sadie shoots an O'Driscoll during Colm's hanging and blew the cover of the group when it should've been a quiet death for Colm and making the mission more memorable, but no, the b itch just wants to prove that she's a strong independent female who doesn't need no man to help her, she kills Cleet by hanging in the Epilogue even if you spare him because it seems like the developers didn't want the player to have as much choice in their story experience. Whoa, you're a charming one are you not? The length of the video is irrelevant, the video answers the question as to what makes Sadie Adler a Mary Sue. The video gave truths and evidence as to how Sadie performs many feats of un-immersive/unrealistic power and capabilities. Part of the video on the topic of women IRL was partially exaggerated, as was stated so. It was about showing objectivity in the arguments expressed to the viewers. Pointing out that Wild West female outlaws weren't nearly as impressive as the video game character of Sadie, how Sadie overreacts on multiple occasions by killing people needlessly. How RDR2's Wild West is not as authentic as was hoped. And how the character seemed shoved in that the last minute to appease the SJW's that don't appear to be proper gamers. There was no serious comment about women belonging in the kitchen or being shitty things on the planet. Only that they are physically weaker than men, with less emotional fortitude on average. No offense was intended on anything or any-being in the real world. I hope that you at least understand the viewpoint that was expressed in the video.

Characters like Black Belle give a glimpse into what a strong, badass, female gunslinger character can be like. Sadie Adler often makes the same decisions Micah does and gets none of the backlash, she undergoes pretty much no evolution (when you consider Red Dead Online), her voice acting is awful (in my clearlyobjectively correct opinion), and etc.. People can have opinions other than yours and you can still respect their opinion.

black belle is literally the most flat written character ever. anyone with basic writing skills could write her, sadies character has a lot of depth to it with reason for any action she does, dont like her? fine, but I don't know why people instantly jump to "bad writing" just because they dont like the character. I like black belle for example but I dont think they are well written and thats because she didn't need to be, very simple character. rdr2 covers all angles of life and sadie is just one of them, other people have mentioned how she "suddenly becomes a badass" which just isnt true, we don't know much about sadies previous life with her husband other than that she shared the work, she very well could be experienced with guns or trained by one of the gang members, not everything is seen. but when we met the character she was in shock and grief over the loss of her husband, she then can be seen throughout the next portion of the game sitting around sad, she was grieving. she was coping with the death of her husband, and as she continued to process it she started doing more things around the camp helping out but obviously got to a point where someone stopped her from doing more and then felt restricted, often times when dealing with death you want to distract yourself with things to do. someone also said its an "unrealistic story" so a grief striken woman that joins a gang of infamous outlaws becomes hell bent on revenge and then eventually becomes an outlaw herself is unrealistic apparently. if somebody murders any of my loved ones I'm probably gonna want revenge too, and if I'm in 1899 in a gang of outlaws it will probably tempt me even more. but charles and sadie also act as the hope in the camp along with john and his family, thats sort of the point of the game that in all the dark times we face, we can find hope. that is a constant theme throughout in many different ways. but I think it is very obvious that these same people who dislike sadie are the same ones who are mad about a woman being the main lead of gta 6. I think plenty of other people have already used to word beginning with i and ending in L and I think its kinda obvious tbh. people are just mad about her being a strong woman character and try to hide it in the overly aggressive replies. making a strong role to represent half of the world is not a bad thing at all and how anyone can discredit the writing in this game is obscene. thats the main reason people are worried for gta 6 is because the main writer left, why is it that people are worried? because rdr2 was so good and that writer was fantastic, so to attack the writing is insane. maybe some of these people just haven't dealt with grief themselves and therefor cant connect with the character, cool. but most people dont have the right intentions on disliking sadie and that much is obvious. to make a mod to completely remove them from the game clearly shows that. She risked the camp in Rhoades by refusing to follow Arthur's lead and shoot the Raiders, she risked Arthur's and Charle's lives in Shady belle because she wanted revenge; she had Arturo Bullard killed because of her thirst for revenge(The balloon pilot), she risked Dutch's and Arthur's lives, they could've been hung, when they went to see Colm die, if her character development had been like it was AFTER that moment when Colm died, until the end, it would've been awesome, but they rushed her, they didn't show proper development like they did with Kieran or Marston, you and everyone else call us incels, but we can call you empty headed, because you see a senseless character that is a "strong woman" and cheer without thought of "Did it make any sense?"
