1. Do we need to rename update folder into update_1? 2. Does the settings.xml file need to be editable or can be read only for this to work? 3. Do we need to change 0.03333 values to 0.09333?
I honestly can't understand whether this mod does something or it's just a placebo
best TAA blur fix by far..this one can actually remove most of the blur during motion which is visible on grass, it's the only one having a noticeable effect for me compared to the others
however you have to edit the 0.03333 values to 0.09333 to make it better, the other taa mods on this website pale in comparison
i'm playing at 2.25x DLDSR + DLSS quality on a 1080p monitor and my game has never looked this good and crisp. DLSS version 3.7.10 with preset E
What is "2.25x DLDSR"? How did you installed the new version off DLSS? Everytime I try to install it, it changes back to the basic RDR2 DLSS Version when I launch the game. And what is a "DLSS Preset E"?
DSR is super resolution .Graphics Card rendering higher resolution frame and display in the original resolution of your monitor ,which can make the visual better ,but have a great performance loss .I suggest everyone to close it in NVIDIA control panel .
Just to complement and answer the other questions, DLDSR stands for Deep Learning Dynamic Super Resolution. It uses AI to make the result better than DSR alone. Nvidia says that DLDSR at 2.25X has a similar quality to DSR 4X, but at a lower performance cost.
I wouldn't recommend using it if you don't have a GPU that can support the performance cost because you probably won't want to stop using it haha. Using DLDSR 1.78X on a 1080p monitor makes a huge difference.
To download the latest version of DLSS, just search for ‘DLSS dowload’ and the first result should be from TechPoweUp. You just need to replace the file in your game's directory.
‘DLSS Preset E’ should mean DLSS balanced. He must have got confused and used the abbreviation for his native language.
My English is bad, I hope you managed to understand.
either it's a placebo or this really helped, thanks anyway it's weird though, do you need your system.xml to be editable for this mod to work? Because I have mine on read-only. My game crashes right after I launch it if I'll make it editable.
you just have to edit the mod's value and thats it, afaik system.xml is tied to the game settings and doesnt have anything to do with the mod, have never experienced crashes on rdr2 so idk what to tell and why it crashes
@YazkDier DLSS Preset E isnt DLSS Balanced you can choose many presets if you use "DLSS Tweaks" they have some differences like some are sharper some are more stable some have less ghosting, theres presets like A,B,C,D,E,F,G,J,K and J and K are the latest ones and you can force these presets also by using "NVIDIA Profile Inspector" pretty sure J and K are only on DLSS 4 but it works on all RTX cards not just 50 series, J and K presets require updating to "DLSS 4/DLSS 310.2"J preset works on DLSS 310.1 and K only on DLSS 310.2 and J also works on DLSS 310.2 or use "DLSS Swapper"

Idk why, but this is the only TAA fix that worked for me, removed not only the blur but much of the flickering as well. Works wonders when downscaling for more fps. Thank you so much! Oh, for anybody wondering why it's not showing up in the mod manager, it uses a direct folder system without any instal.xml.
Absolutely do not put TAA on high.... for any resolution. Medium will look sharper, less blurry, more detailed/lod improvement, and give you a decent fps boost. The people in this comment section do not wear glasses nor have good vision.
^ lol there's pretty much little to no visual difference putting TAA on Medium or High, the game still a blurry mess what does help with the blurriness is either increase internal resolution, use DLSS/FSR or use some sharpening filter
and since the game was built in a 4K screen with everything maxed out (including TAA), putting TAA on medium IT DOES NOT improve LOD, doesn't even make sense try turning TAA off and see what happens

Because adding a proper explanation to this file appeared to hard for some reason.
Dumb question i know.

I have a few questions. I hope that's ok.
