For those who care I released a 2k texture version of the epilogue stubble, only compatible with the NPC John hair, you can download it here.

Why does the beard look brown in the sun I’ve been wondering this for a while

  Obviously because it's a lot lighter than John's vanilla beard and I don't understand why the beard won't get the dark brown it should be.here is an example of vanilla john's beard in rdr2 + this mod + rdr1 john. as you can see, vanilla John's beard has a more correct color.

  The texture you just linked is a texture that has 2,24 level, which means its much darker than it appears ingame. The vanilla beard texture is the same color as the modded beard.

Great mod! pardon my ignorance, but what are the diferences between 3 lines scalp and OG marston??

  Thanks! The 3 line scalp is used for the Arthur hairstyles, the OG scalp is only fit to use with the OG long hair.

this doesn't seem to work for me, and I would have notice if it did since I play RDR2 with low texture settings and LML forces custom textures to be ultra, so if it did work then Epilogue John would have a ultra quality face texture while the rest of his body would be low

Whats the difference between this and your rdr1 face mod. from what i can see they both do the exact same thing, am i wrong?

  Classic stubble adds a RDR1 accurate beard to epilogue John, and optionally npc John too.
  
  Classic RDR1 face adds a more rough and old face to John. Its literally in the name

I fail to see how this looks that different from the vanilla stubble, and it barely looks like the RDR1 one

  I am so proud of this community, we somehow managed to make a newcomer to modding feel like absolute garbage and then humiliate them in the process for apparently no reason at all, let's keep at it guys! :D (sarcasm alert)

  Alright, for real now, if jmrp is working fine for you, then this means you've installed "Classic Stubble" incorrectly.
  
  There's 3 folders inside of the "Classic Stubble" folder right? Inside of each one of them there's a "lml" folder, i'm guessing you know what to do with it since you have jmrp already installed, extract the "lml" folders and put them inside of your RDR 2 folder (which there should be already a "lml" folder), if there's something to replace, replace them.
  
  And with that, you're done, that's basically the extended version of the "readme" that comes with the mod, if somehow the mod still doesn't work, then rip.
  
  Try to look around the website and see how other mods work so that you have a clear idea of how to install mods properly in the future.

  I'm glad you got it working but I noticed the pictures you send were of the classic RDR1 face mod, did you confuse the two mods that's why you were having issues with installation?
