Script Hook RDR2 writes about ".asi" files, but in the 7.zip is only a ".ccp" script file? Am I missing something? Which ".ini" are you talking about? Where is this .ini file located, because I want to adjust the game-time-speed as I want to.^^
What do I have to do? - Describtion isn't helping at all.
Is it possible that this doesnt go along with Vestigia or similar Graphics Mods? It always crashed until I removed Vestigia, and this seems to me the only natural enemy of that mod, as only this affects Time and Weather like Vestigia.
FORCE_CONSISTENT_TIMEFLOW=1 not work on build version 1436.28... tested on mission polite society with uncle and ladies driving cart to valentine and try to enable time overlay with rampage trainer... time back to normal and fast when riding cart... tried to switch normal mode to force mode with "insert" and disable enable "end" but nothing change...
if I will use normal mode, which turns off the mod automatically during the mission I don't have to manually turning off the mod before specific mission like author said in the description?
Or I have to do it still before Sean mission and other mentioned in the desc?
If I turn off the mod before watching, visiting theater will I get completionist?
Is this mod compatible with Steam achievements? Also, i see that we could set up custom time scale for every ingame hour. I wonder how it look in vanila game, cause I want to slightly adjust timescale in my game, but not much differentiate to vanila. So I really want to know what looks vanila values. And was in vanila game time shorten durring riding? And how it work with mod, if I set up timescale for every hour?
Thank you SO MUCH for this mod. I'm a horse rider and when in the saddle, which is quite rare these days, I tend to lose sense of the time, take routes I usually don't take, that are unknown to me. Since I can't have that anymore for now, I use RDR2 to compensate. However, the fast moving clock always kind of ruined it for me. So thank you so, so much for this mod!
Honestly, the ideal way to implement the travel mechanic would be to just change the timescale when the player is moving above a certain speed, I feel like that would eliminate a lot of issues.
I was doing timescale set to 10000 with the travel modifier enabled, set to 670. The only issue I have with this mod is that traveling at the max speed of 12 m/s makes the time fly faster than it proportionally should, as detailed in another comment below. I'm just now deciding to half the timescale to 5000 with travel mod set to 250, so that there's less timescale variance when traveling at different speeds (i.e. 8 m/s on horse would make timescale be 3000, while the max of 12 m/s makes the timescale 2000) whereas in my previous setting there was more than double the differential in these two speeds. I'm trying to simulate longer distances while travelling but still making the day feel longer than in vanilla. I'd use the switch timescale to a longer timescale but for some reason it doesn't work anymore for me, you could try doing a combo of the travel mod and alternate timescale. Anyways, hopes this helps you and other ppl decide the settings.
Not sure if you're still after some settings, but here is what I've settled on (for now). TIMESCALE_1=8750 and TIMESCALE_2=60000 (meaning real time). TRAVEL_MODIFIER=375. This makes one working day (7 in the morning to 9 at night) take a bit over 2 real life hours, which feels about right for me. Travelling at speed almost doubles the rate, but still doesn't feel too fast (though I've yet to try it with a max speed stat horse, so might need to be slightly lowered).
Switch to Forced mode and TIMESCALE_2 for minigames like poker or fishing so they happen in real time and you don't end up sitting at a poker table for several days straight.
