May i ask how do you do it? I can spawn the dappled buckskin norfolk roadster in story mode thanks to rampage trainer but i can't do anything at the stable with it and when i reload the horse gets replaced. I figured if i replaced the MFT model with the norfolk like you did with your mod it's work like a charm i just don't know how.
update.rpf\x64\packs\base\data\metapeds\metapeds.rpf\a_c_horse_norfolkroadster_dappledbuckskin.ymt Extract the file to desktop > rename it to what ever horse you would like to replace and copy it to > LML\steam folder. this is the way to get all "unencrypted" files.
if you are looking for specific horse and you can't see the name in the metapeds.rpf then it's encrypted (file name is in Hex) so what you will do is : - open metapeds.ymt in "RedDeadRedemption2\update.rpf\x64\packs\base\data\" - search for the horse name - Copy only the name for exp. "A_C_Horse_MissouriFoxTrotter_DappleGrey" - go to Lenny's site? to hash generator - paste the name and get the hash. - 2 results "Hex" and "Decimal" and we need the "Hex". in this case it's (5F5BC124) - copy the Hex go back to OpenIV to update.rpf\x64\packs\base\data\metapeds\metapeds.rpf and now add "0x" before the name (0x5F5BC124) in the search. Note: add "0x" if the Hex code it 8 characters , if it's 7 chars then add "0x0" - search > extract the file to your desktop and then rename it to whatever horse you would like to replace it with.
Is there a way to merge this mod with Bigger Horses? I'm trying to replace the silver Turkoman with the black online version and have the larger size horse.
Going to have to echo the invisible horse problem. I've got the latest LML afaik (beta 9?), I put the file (& only the file) for the black Turkoman in the lml/stream folder, and I get a horse with no skin (just eyes, teeth, & mane/tail) ---- when I test spawned it (the dark bay turko) with Rampage Trainer, fyi. I also had the same problem on a single horse from Crow's horse pack (Blue MFT).
If it's all the horses then you definitely 100% didn't install it correctly .
This mod won't change any files in your game, it's straight forward replacing an ingame file with another ingame file. - make sure you installed the files according to "How to install" (DO NOT COPY THE FOLDERS , ONLY THE FILE INSIDE IT) - check game version and LML version.
I can't think of anything else all files had been tested and there is nothing more I can do with it.
