About this mod
Personally, I loved the "first playthrough" scaling for leveling archetypes (and now Prisms), but it became a chore to try new things out for subsequent runs/farming.
I wanted to reduce the barrier (time sink) to build crafting slightly by increasing the experience bonus for both the Sagestone Ring and Mudtooth's Elixir.

Requires: Allow Asset Mods
Installation:
To install the mod, extract the zip folder and copy the BetterSagestone folder (containing Scripts and enabled.txt) and place it inside Steam\steamapps\common\Remnant2\Remnant2\Binaries\Win64\Mods.
Info:
This mod increases the experience bonus values for both the Sagestone Ring and Mudtooth's Elixir.
- base game default for the ring is 10% and mod default is 50%
- base game default for the elixir is 15% and the mod default is 75%
You can change the mod values using the console commands "SetRingXp" or "SetDrinkXp". Alternatively you can modify the included config file.
Note: You must re-equip/re-apply the respective ring/concoction if the command is used with either active.
(In some cases the UI doesn't update instantly. Close and re-open the Character/Inventory UI to show updated values.)
Works online, but only if you are the host. Online party members do not see the modifications reflected in the UI, but do receive the modified xp bonuses for Sagestone and Mudtooth Elixer.
Given that this also affects party members, please only use it with permission.
This mod should not impact your ability to join online game.
Tested and working on app version 444163_UE.
Update: 9/2024 - I noticed the original upload's file structure could have caused confusion as there were two "BetterSagestone" folders, one nested in the other. I have re-uploaded the mod and simplified the folders.
Update: DLC 3 - This mod also works with the new Prism/Fragment system as your Prisms are fed with regular xp. Happy hunting for the perfect Prism!
