Beware there! nemesis can hit you. In nemesis test video I am using Raz0r trainer (invincibility enabled).
First I am trying to open and connect some alleys, ways, areas etc.. as much as possible that game allows us, I managed to remove many barricades and some of them located behind the substation that's make connection between substation and the roof and you can skip first nemesis fight in the downtown, but that breaks the game events, I managed to remove the shutter door in the subway station that's leads you to the sewers and this breaks the game too when you trigger the duct hole infinite loading shows, there is many ways and areas can be connected and make the map more expanded but the problem is with the events, so for now I will keep things like that, if I figured out something new I will make an update.
I absolutely loved your mod! If I may make a suggestion and a request: would it be possible to create connections between the city, Carlos's police station section, and the hospital? Something that allows for natural movement between these areas—do you think that could be done?
Another thing... Do you think it would be possible to connect the first part of the city with those initial areas we only see during the introduction? Like being able to return to Dario's warehouse and walk through that section where Jill passes during the intro. Just some ideas—your project is fantastic, and thank you for sharing it!
It would be cool if you could make it possible to go back to the city area at the start of the game where you meet Brad. That area is huge and it's weird how Capcom put so much effort into creating a whole section of the game that you only see once, very briefly, at the start.
They could easily have had the player go back there later on in the game, threw some puzzles in there and extended the game by an additional 20 minutes.
Might have even prevented some of the whining from "fans" about how short this game is, even though it's about the exact same length as the original RE3...
@DeltaGem - Yes, it's the dictionary definition of "whining."
So, hating something = being a fan, and liking it = not a fan. Yup. Makes perfect sense.
You're acting as though these REmakes are substantially shorter than their originals. They're not. And if you knew anything about the original games these are remakes of you'd know that one of their major selling points was replayability: in order to unlock everything in the game you have to play the campaign(s) several times over fulfilling all the requirements, and these REmakes have carried that over - you're not supposed to just finish the campaign and stop playing.
Incidentally, I've been a fan of Resident Evil since 1998 and played every game as they came out. Saying I'm not a fan because I'm not jumping on the PMS induced *censored*-fest bandwagon of spergs throwing tantrums because a remake isn't 100% what they expected it to be is laughable. Could it be longer? Sure. But considering I wasn't expecting any REmake of RE3 at all in my lifetime it's quite honestly a pathetic thing to get angry about.
wonder how the FF VII fans feel after that s*** remake? Took the best FF game and chopped it into 6 "HD" parts that they wont see for 10 years.. or the Diablo 2 fans that are pissed off that the remake got a SJW sensor. Some people are fans, you clearly are not.
@DeltaGem Every game doesn't need to be 60-100 hours long. Resident Evil is the wrong franchise to be complaining about short games, especially when they all have such replayability. They're all short, it's by design. Quit gatekeeping.
Ive played re3 og on ps1 a million times, and id agree if it weren't for the fact that they tore out huge sections of the game and replaced them with more cinematic instances which no one asked for. you run like four blocks outside the city and that's it. unlike og where that pretty much the whole game.
@Sdgbzxdfghnasrt except for the fact that we have an actual comparison with the og re3. Nobody is asking for a 60-100 game here. You people who defend this joke of a remake love to over exaggerate. Fact of the matter is. This game lacks areas, bosses, mercenaries, costumes, and has zero replay value.
@TopDollar86 Him "hating" on it makes him more of a fan that you are for sure. Criticism that was received for this game makes future installments better. And because of that criticism MTwo is now not in charge of any projects going forward. You're welcome.
It's not necessarily about the 'length', it's about this one obvious undeniable plunder they made -> leaving out the clocktower section.
You can even see that area in game doesn't make sense, when Nemesis turns into his beast form and begins running on those trucks like that look like a colosseum. When Jill enters that zone, it feels as if she has just left clocktower except there were no such maps. I think they meant to design that area but they didn't have the right designers who could make good puzzles. The puzzles in RE3R where very primitive-cavemen and not anything intelligent at all.
The bottomline is this : they launched a completed game, as they would complete a school class. (Except they skipped one exam, the clocktower - how do they expects players to not notice?) :[
It's not about how many hours it takes to complete the campaign. It's about how there's literally nothing else to do after the campaign which is already short. Even having few replayable stages like RE2 remake would have been better, let alone having the mercenary mode.
Incorrect the original RE3 is about 6 to 7 hours long while the Remake is literally barely 2 hours long which is the amount of time it took me to beat it my first playthrough without knowing a single thing being able to beat a game that fast should only be possible through playing the game enough to have the knowledge of how to best tackle situations and get through places quickly the "REMAKE" literally is just super short stop spreading misinformation and stop sucking the dick of a company that literally made a glorified DLC cost 60 dollar's and also sorry for us F A N S wanting a quality full length game for the 60 dollar's we spent the RE2 Remake is literally what the RE3 Remake should've been a proper freaking game and not (Oh yeah sorry we took half of your dinner and yeah you still gotta pay full price sorry not sorry) but in the end with people like Y O U there is no need to argue you are a person that isn't that smart and cannot comprehend the basics of why people would be annoyed at Capcom now then hope I never see you again
Yeah seriously what the heck are these defender's on bro? they know nothing other then being little suck ups to these big companies they seriously cannot understand the fact that if people are giving huge amounts of criticism for something that deserves it that makes those that do it more of a Fan because they don't like seeing this type of garbage done to something they like TopDollar86 is just one of those annoying ones that think they have a galaxy sized brain and in the end they look like an edgy 13 year old arguing with their parent over something they know nothing about it is hilarious to say the least
RE3 OG is literally 3/4 hours of gameplay without rushing, It feels like a longer game, due to the number of different areas it has, slow pace, other mini bosses apart of Nemesis, puzzles, etc., in general, it is a more complete game than this poorly called remake.
I know it lasts a little more than 3 hours because I passed the game less than a week ago with the HD mod, the remake is bad, especially for the first act, full of cinematics, fast pace, a lot of scripts scenes, nothing like the OG, which is the complete opposite, if we add all the deleted content and that they removed the mythical mode mercenary, this remake is a piece of shit.
But in terms of duration, both games are short, the remake feels shorter, because it is a game with almost no exploration, and with little variety of settings and enemies.

how to install mod, tx
However, since I haven't been doing modding since html times... could anyone tell me which program do I need to mod this file?
And also the whole Sewer section and the Nest in re2 to re3? And add Mr. X too?
I just want you to continue this mod. It is amazing!
