Why is it reloading the Y button for xbox? It's X button. OH I edit the re tweaks and got rid of reload without aiming, but I reload with A. What the heck? Don't listen to this comment actually, LT + A is the right way to reload in 5.
Everything ok in Original,but when I try to use in the HD Project Version, it crashes when using the Simplified Chinese version (ok in English and Traditional Chinese). Hopefully it can be fixed.
Just completed a playthrough with this and it's great, still my favorite control layout ever for OG RE4. There's just one thing: when you get the crane on the Island that lets you dump Ganado into the waste pit, the HUD still reads "Left Stick + X" to control, but in reality it's "Left Stick + A." It seems that this mod changes the controls for that specific controllable event only, since any other similar event still used the X button.
Yeah, i notice it. Thats because i had to cancell an entry that controls X as action button in the inventory (to convert it to the moving button), and i guess this one also controls the QTE in that section and also the Climb button after the railcar section when you have to press A instead of X. I'll see if that can be fixed through texture editing.

Yo! You've probably made my favorite control scheme for RE4. I always liked using the modern shooter controls for this game but didn't like having inventory on Start. Your layout is perfect and is compatible with the HD Project, thanks for your hard work!
Great mod, but it seems that the D-pads and L-stick-up do not work work properly when in the menus. L-stick-up works like "activate" and D-pads do not work at all.

Yep, same here, especially after playing the GameCube version, I kept opening the map over and over on PC lol.
