Hey everyone. The mod doesn't change your UI so you won't see an infinity symbol for example. To know it's working just shoot then reload any firearm and you should see that your reserve ammo doesn't decrease when you reload.
Edit: It seems the mod isn't working for most people in Mercenaries mode. If I figure out why I'll update.
why is this mod necessary when the game already has a thing called CAT EARS??? a feature that offers the exact same thing this mod offers.. i don't get it..
Who said it was necessary? I think what you mean to say is that this mod has no value whatsoever, is this what you meant? Because that's a question I can answer.
well, think about it for a sec.... what is the benefit of this mod when there are plenty of mods that offer this feature??? so, yes, this mod has NO value... i get my infinite ammo from chenstack trainer or RE4R ultimate trainer...
RE4R Ultimate Trainer last I checked doesn't have classic Infinite Ammo option, it has Infinite Clip or No Reload, but it's named Infinite Ammo. I personally hate that option, playing a resident evil game without reloading my weapon every 1.5 seconds is a crime! In fact, this is the reason someone requested this mod from me, I've actually had this mod for myself for long time but thought people didn't care for it, it turns out I was wrong.
There aren't plenty of mods, as far as I know there is currently one way to get proper infinite ammo, that is the unlockable Cat Ears, and if you don't want the look there's a mod that makes them invisible. So the value of my mod is for people who don't have the cat ears unlocked, people who want infinite ammo alongside the benefits of another accessory because you can only wear one, people who want infinite ammo while wearing another accessory they visually prefer that has no benefits (glasses for example). There used to be a mod that added infinite ammo but it is outdated and doesn't work anymore.
Most importantly: Modding is fun, and free. I enjoy making mods, and I share them because others might enjoy using them, obviously there were people who thought this was worth a download, 1700 people in like 5 days. If -say- a quarter of them actually go on to continue using it and enjoy it, that's still hundreds of people who got enjoyment out of something I shared.
Most mods aren't necessary, in fact unless it's a Bethesda game, pretty much all mods aren't necessary, but to say a mod has NO value... to anyone... that is absurd.
Ok... ok... some mods do actually have NO value: G-san but I still love it.
ohh really?? someone requested this mod??? LOL damn, there's LOTS of dumb people out there who ain't never heard of no CAT EARS... tell me this: whats the purpose of cat ears??? ohh, and you like modding??? thats just aces... so, instead of making a stupid "mod" thats already a feature in the game itself, why don't you make a mod thats FUN, and USEFUL..
I think you missed what I said about cat ears, that's ok, I guess I understand. If you have some time later try to read it, it's ok take your time. But keep the conversation between the two of us and don't insult others.
Bro, if you don't like the mod, just keep quiet. As you can see, many people, including myself, need it. At least the person who made this mod is helping those who need it, rather than you, who can only give negative comments without contributing anything to the community. And to IMaVeRicK, thank you for making this mod.
ok, have any of you guys try out the randomizer for this game yet??? if not, here's the link: https://re4r.biorand.net it is a mod made by IntelOrca.. look him up on Twitch... right now he's working on the Separate Ways rando... as for this mod?? i get it.. if you don't have cat ears unlocked, i suppose this infinite ammo mod by IMaVeRicK does add some value.. its all good...
LOL OMG, i thought it did... its been a few months since i last played the rando... well, thats why we have Ultimate Trainer and Chenstack trainer.. also, RicK, i was just wondering,, you said its "criminal" to play game with infinite clip... to me, infinite clip (no reload) is the true definition of infinite ammo... if i'm in a fierce firefight with 10 ganados on my tail, i ain't got time to reload my s#*!, UNLESS the reload speed is increased significantly.... reloading is the reason i don't like using cat ears... i don't like reloading my guns, since every time i try, i lose, especially against the major tanky enemies...
If this is your first time installing mod, try looking up a tutorial for Fluffy Mod Manager on youtube it would probably be better. Other than that, make sure that you copy the zip file you downloaded directly to the mods folder without unpacking it, or if you want to unpack it choose 'extract to [folder name]' and not 'extract here...' then copy that folder into your mods folder. In the game you won't see an infinity symbol if the mod is working you should just see that your ammo reserve doesn't decrease when you reload your weapons. At the time the mod doesn't work in Mercenaries mode.
