Hello everyone,
I’m excited to present a Preset that essentially turns the game into a cinematic experience. Important details are provided in the description below, and I highly recommend reading them carefully.

This preset focuses on cinematic effects, including subtle film grain, light chromatic aberration, and a classic letterbox. For color tones and lighting, I utilized effects like Fake HDR and DPX combined with a blue tint, while also enhancing warm tones. The overall result provides a film-like perspective on the game, though it comes at the cost of an average FPS drop of around 15 on weaker hardware like mine.
I've also included a version with DOF (Depth of Field) for even greater immersion, though it comes with a few trade-offs. For example, the dynamic nature of Resident Evil 4 means that DOF may not always perfectly track fast movements in-game, and there might be occasional moments where the focus shifts away from the character for a second. While I’ve fine-tuned it to minimize such issues, the fast-paced nature of RE4 compared to older entries in the series can lead to slight inconsistencies, especially during cutscenes. DOF performs best during gameplay but adds an extra FPS drop of around 5 when enabled.
To install the preset, place the selected version and shaders into the game’s main folder. For Steam, the default path is:
