For anyone who is having trouble getting the “body” part of the “Tifa (Costa del Sol)” mod working, I too had the same issue. After some trial and error, I finally figured out the solution. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you get it working:
( Please note, this is for playing Ada as Tifa. I tested it in the Separate Ways DLC, and it seemed to work fine. However, the "dress" part of this mod does not seem to work on Ada in the main game for some reason. When you play as Leon (in the main game), Ada is wearing her default outfit with Tifa's head. )
1) Make sure you have the latest REFramework for RE4R installed.
3) Download the mods, extract them into their own folders, and place them inside the Fluffy Mod Manager. a. For example, my file paths are: "H:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\RESIDENT EVIL 4 BIOHAZARD RE4\Fluffy Mod Manager\Games\RE4R\Mods\Tifa (Costa del Sol) - Ada - Head" and "H:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\RESIDENT EVIL 4 BIOHAZARD RE4\Fluffy Mod Manager\Games\RE4R\Mods\Tifa (Costa del Sol) - Ada (Dress) - Body".
4) Open the Fluffy Mod Manger. a. Click on “Ada”. b. Click on “Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Mod Bundle”. c. Select the Tifa "body" and "head" mods, making sure to install the "body" mod first.
5) Close the Fluffy Mod Manager and open the game.
6) Open the REFramework overlay box and then open the "Resident Evil 4 Remake Ultimate Trainer". (My REFramework overlay opens with the “Insert” key.)
7) In the trainer's interface (refer to this screenshot for reference: https://ibb.co/5hpH5k6T), do the following: a. Check the “Player Character Swap” option. b. Set the top combo box to “Ada Mercenaries”. c. Set the bottom combo box to “Dress”.
8) Reload your save, and you should see the Tifa (body and head) on Ada.
This solution worked for me, and I hope it helps someone else too.
1 - go to "Downloads" option in fluffy mod manager then download "RE Framework" and enable it from mod list. 2 - download this "Tifa (Costa del Sol) - Ada - Head" and "Tifa (Costa del Sol) - Ada (Dress) - Body" mods and put them inside "Fluffy Mod Manager\Games\RE4R\Mods" folder and enable them both (first Head mod then Body mod). 3 - download "Resident Evil 4 Remake Ultimate Trainer" (https://www.nexusmods.com/residentevil42023/mods/1479?tab=files) and extract it into game's folder (SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\RESIDENT EVIL 4 BIOHAZARD RE4 folder or wherever you have installed the game. make sure re4.exe is present there). 4 - launch the game via fluffy mod manager and go till main menu then press "insert" key then tap on "Script Generated UI" then tap on "Resident Evil 4 Remake Ultimate Trainer by Raz0r & Dante" then tick "Player Character Swap" option then choose "Ada Mercenaries" in the first dropbox and "Dress" in 2nd dropbox then press "insert" to close reframework window. 5 - now simply load the game and your problem is fixed.
main important part here is that you have to do player swap from game's main menu instead of after loading the game otherwise game will stuck at re-loading the game to apply the changes.
This is amazing! Thank you very much! Hope you could also make Tifa in her standard Rebirth outfit with changeable hairstyle (standard / shining spirit / majestic glamour) if it's not that difficult hehe.
