you should try the berserker mod.. i'm playing on leon must die (basically professional) and its super tough. it adds new enemy placements/more enemies, new trap placements, merchant changes, some map changes, and brings over enemies from separate ways
Well you have the right to your own opinion I cannot blame you for not liking it cause that is what the Berserker mod is meant to do change the game to make it fresh and much harder for those who beat RE4R on Professional or just want a slightly new experience after beating the game a bunch
You really shouldn't be telling People to try that mod cause it is ungodly hard and most People can't even beat the unfairly balanced Professional of the RE4 Remake cause Capcom geared it way to much for the much smaller amount of People such as 'Speedrunners' and 'Challenge Runners' cause the balancing is so dang bad like I played through Professional on the OG RE4 and it was hard but fair the Remake is just really bad in balancing on Capcom's part
It is the same with the RE2 Remake cause they give you like no time at all to beat the game on the hardest Difficulty to unlock certain Weapon's like under 3 hours or something which is not fair to balance something around a much smaller amount of Player's (Like I stated before with the type's I am referring to) and this is coming from someone that beat Resident Evil 5 on all Difficulties with no other Player to back me up (Which was hell mind you)
Like if that small group of Player's wants something harder they can just mod the game to have a challenge worthy of their skills but the base game even on the hardest difficulty shouldn't be so unfairly hard like the RE4 Remake is on Professional and of course the absolutely terrible and unfair requirements to unlock certain Weapon's in the RE2 Remake
Like I get not being able to use the Infinite ammo SMG and stuff cause they're powerful but the Infinite ammo peashooter Pistol should still allow you to get an S rank even with it being used CAUSE IT IS A TINY LITTLE PISTOL THAT DOES LIKE NO DAMAGE!!
Non empress version is also running choppy as well. Disabled all other mods and just have this one downloaded to determine it was the culprit. Just commenting here to save someone the trouble of troubleshooting which mod is doing this.
So I don't know if it's because of a particular combo of mods I use or something, but every time I put this specific mod in and out in conjunction with everything else I play with intact, the game keeps freezing at the very end of REFramework trying to initialize. I don't know how in one of these tries I managed to get past it, but once I was in-game, and some of my other script mods weren't working, I hit "Reset scripts" under ScriptRunner, and now it's just frozen the game again.
I even updated to the latest Nightly REFramework before that last attempt, and ultimately no dice. I wanted to use this to make the game tougher in compensation with the Dodge Roll & Sprint mod (Plus other similar gameplay mods such as Universal Lasers, Combat Run Speed Fix, etc)
No idea when or how but this long since hasn't been a problem anymore. Now I'm just not sure if it's even working in general though, but that's always been the case for me to be honest.
Is it still working?? I recently installed it on February 19th to work together with (adaptive difficult selector) to always leave it at difficulty 11 and combine it with this mod, but the feeling I have is that it's not working, the enemies seem to continue attacking as the difficulty 11 itself is already did Edit: Or do you need to start a new game to work?

Going from 144fps to 60-70. Just FYI if you use this mod your frames will tank.

Can you make your mods normal not using REFramework like Multi did on Nightmare mod?
If you able to make your mods like that, please add my suggestions on my previous comment last Nov 15, 2023?
