The BEST mod I've installed yet, saved me hours and hours of grinding, but one slight issue that I'm wondering if anyone else is having. Im having a hard time getting other weapon drops, so far I've been grinding for over 3-4 hours and I haven't been getting any weapon drops like the Anti-Materiel Rifle, Rifle SVD, Rifle M1891/30, and the Assault Rifle NSR47, not sure if is the mod, my luck, or if the drop chance of these weapons are way lower, but just wondering if anyone else has had the same issue as me, overall pretty good mod!
Those are ebc float bytes, which are based on hitting those bytes off the seed that is generated at mission start, so it's most likely a seed generating problem, nothing to do with your luck.
If after 1 hour of grinding you start to notice getting really bad repeat drops you got a bad seed and should restart the game or just stop there.
just for comparison, a good rng seed can drop 2 amrs or 1 full burst in a usual v-3;viii-6 1 hour grinding, of which in vanilla you would have to grind for close to a month to get a similar result.
Thankfully all the meta tagged weapons equivalent or better than event ones have a decent drop rate already, reason i didn't change it.
For the tags they were originally close to 5% with rare at 3 and i changed that by decreasing the huge number of untagged, making it 8% for all of them, including the rare one.
Sweet! I appreciate the percentages, luckily I figured out it was just my luck, i did start getting other types of weapons, I was even getting Anti-Materiel Rifles back to back believe it or not! Thanks again for clearing things up and helping me understand more about the mod.
Big Question. Is there supposed to be another mod to be ran in tandem with this mod for Raid Mode? I keep trying to launch it but I always keep getting the infinite loading screen until I deactivate the mod.
Make sure you setup the correct path on Fluffy Mod Manager, this is most likely the problem.
This includes caps sensitive on your NativePC folder and subfolders by the way.
For example, nativepc is different from NativePC, so you must match it to yours on Fluffy by renaming the folder correctly.
Also, you MUST have all the DLC's for this to work. This is the second most common problem. You aren't getting it to work with just having Chapter 1 because it contains various DLC edited files.
Even pirated versions of the game must have all the DLC files for it to work as advertised.
I have even done it by hand and I still had the same issues w/o fluffy. My copy of the game is legit and has all DLC so I'm still a little stumped but do appreciate the answer
got a lvl 100 rainbow muramasa after like only 5 tries in V-03 in code red. idk if it was luck becasue the muramasa still has low chance to drop right? either way great mod, saves so many hours of tedious grind.
Does the mod work with fluffy mod manager? Or just replacing the game files?
EDIT: No need to answer, I've already tested it and it works. This is good, because it doesn't change the original game files. This is a tip for those who prefer not to change the game files.
Best mod so far... I've spent hours replaying Gauntlet VIII-6 farming useless weapons trying to get a good one, your mods make drops like you say: more reasonable. Thank you, I just would like to know you you did to read the code and know what to touch. However, thanks!!
Believe it or not this is as far as safe you can go without breaking things or getting softbanned on RE.NET.
It's called reasonable for the exact reason you can get top 10 meta weapons with +10/Full Burst parts in a few hours of V-3 and VIII-6 farming, which is what normal people with a few hours to play around on a week/day casually for the events should aim.
Top 1 Meta involves more things like scripting the run and the rng involved, alongside techs, which are glitches and bugs the game retained after the final update.
To say a few examples, JAC PULIDO, KYOHARU, and the rest of the caps username uses their long playtime and savehashing to ""cheat"" 2000 hours farming weapons and parts and copying the age old CenturionVAC classic WR glitchless scripts for youtube showcases, while Krow Dotman altough legit on gear and mods since he still uses a 4/5 Slot AMR and event weapons, employs all the glitches and bugs the game has to fix spawn rng and time, higher burn rate dot, spawn delay, infinite duration of freeze, shock, burn bottle bug, infinite bewilder glitch, to say a few i remember on his recent showcase runs on B.H.:cord since he is active on that discord group.
Both are not considered "cheating" because it's all part of the game in my opinion, but to each their own.
I think in the future once i get more free time i will port my OMEGA BSAA, OMEGA STARS, OMEGA DSO and OMEGA FBC unused parts mod from Playstation to make things more interesting for the modding community.
All my mods are available for the PS4/Xone/some on switch, but i won't be releasing it in public anymore, only for the old original comissioners also not making anything else since i'm not playing this game anymore.
This won't work on PS4 since it's for PC only.
Reason being Capcom always seem to favor any jap trash and their dicksuckers for no reason, they even deleted the account of a friend recently without any warning or reason whatsoever.
If you are really tired, do like the waste Caps gang like KYOHARU/WHITERADA/JAC PULIDO have been doing and edit your save with save wizard in a way that won't break your game.

here is a tutorial example, but don't do exactly like in the video, because it will flag corrupt the save.
Learn the limits and apply it.
Calmness and it's alts that claim the 3 top spots of weekend survivor use something a bit diffferent though if you're curious.
Thank you for the tips, and thank you for the quick reply. You mentioned Calmness, and I have always wondered whats up with that character. Because he seems to beat me with 20 minutes in every WS. The last WS he finished in 27 minutes, solo. I finished in 48 min. Even without any enemies in the stages, i would have struggled to run through the WS that quick. Can they alter the running speed aswell? Anyways, thank you again.
I will showcase the bug it uses in my next mod that i will release at this day later.
The video that my friend that got his RENET account deleted entirely and arbitrarily by capcom showcases the bugs/exploits Calmness uses to get those low times.
Sorry for asking so much, but since this is new territory for me, what are the limits for not getting flagged? The things i wanna do is getting drop rate adjusted and rainbow always 6 slot and lev 100. Also, is there a way of changing lev on weapons that i have, f.ex i have a level 97 unscripted 6 slot. is it possible to adjust the level to 100 without getting flagged. Also make the 4 slot amr that i have into 6 slot. If there are other tips and tricks you have for ps4, to increase drop rate, I`d be happy to hear them. I`ve played offline, even deleted the game, re-installed it and replaced the save data offline. But nothing. So if you know a secret and wanna share it I`d be grateful. Have a nice day.
These are the mod installation paths?: Steam > steamapps > common > RESIDENT EVIL REVELATIONS 2 > NativePCnext > (arc & soft) I want to make sure I don't mess up
Don't forget that you need to be Level 100 and on CODERED to get the full table.
It's not mentioned on the main mod page, but try to keep opening purple and above weapon discs still.
Seems the drop rate of the parts affected it too, some users been reporting good parts already installed, with one with a screenshot of weapons with Damage 13/Full Burst/Charge Shot C5 by default.
Hi, I have a few questions:1-Is it 100% safe to use this mod while playing online? (no risk of being banned from Re.net or Steam itself?)2-In which specific folder should I place the mod?
Great mod, but I am not sure if it still works with steam version(I have all dlcs). The grinding for a resident evil game is beyond stupid, feels like a job, then I found this mod. However, I still didn't get rainbow and six slot weapon after beating a code red level. Also is it normal the level requirement for code red level is only 95?
1 - Made for the steam version, make sure you dropped the content in the correct folder, which is inside of the REVELATIONS2, the one that contains the NativePCnext, and that you replaced everything correctly. Alternatively that the path on FluffyManager is set correctly if you using it.
2 - Make also sure you are playing on Code RED difficulty and that the character you are using is AT LEAST LEVEL 90 AND ABOVE, preferably at the MAX LEVEL of 100 to get the full drop table that includes the better parts with better Full Burst chances. If you play at lower levels, you will get another drop table with worse parts and trash low level weapons.
This mod looks amazing. However I am curious, are you able to use this online? (Without ban etc. I assuming it should be fine?) Would you and your friend both need the mod to play together? (I feel like this is not a client side mod.) Also can you install with Fluffymodmanager?
1 - Yes, it works safely online. RENET has certain sanity checks to ban you, but i obviously won't disclose what they are and this mod is not included in them.
2 - No, both don't need it, but obviously only you will get the better drops, coop partners will receive their table drops, and i think getting 4 rainbow weapons in a row with an AMR in-between will salty non-users.
3 - Yes, but you need to do it manually, i'm not bothering to do the setup after certain events. There is various tutorials on how to do that, pretty simple.
Great mod! Any chance you can make a mod that makes weapon part drops more reasonable? I know you mentioned that high level weapon parts broke stuff but what about making damage, capacity, elite killer, and charge shot more common? Getting all the rainbow guns in a shorter amount of time is awesome but not having the parts to fully utilize them sucks.
It may not look like it due to how the rng table pool system works and the 4 per stage limited slots, but thats exactly what i did.
"so only increased the rate of higher rarity parts and decreased the bad ones by a bit, but you will still get them nonetheless."
Focus on the "but you will still get them nonetheless" part.
In short words on how this works, parts are grouped into rarity tiers, the chances of all the part rarity drops must match to 100% perfectly, outside of full burst and autoshot which is pooled with another series with named units like BSAA.
I unfortunately couldn't find the pointers to change the % chance of the pools or if there is even one outside of weapon/part ratio one.
Since the RNG is seeded at stage start, messing too much with %'s will break it and always make it drop the same part or a glitched item on best scenario or straight up crash the game on worse.
What is even more enraging is that Capcom could easily release the Switch/RENET exclusive parts since there is dummy code pointing but they didn't because reasons.
Probably not making anything else on rer2, since you need to change variables in all DLC files and there is ban risk from RENET too.
It's definitely annoying and a bit anti consumer that capcom hasn't bothered to include the bonus parts, and stages for both revelations games. I know that they don't make much if any money on them but like I don't imagine it would cost them much to just make what they already did work for PC. It'd make the people that still play the games happy and anyone that does end up buying the games able to the play the best version of each game respectively. Plus I think the original REV 1 could use a little t.l.c. in that the max resolution in that game is 1440p and not 4k. If they updated that game and gave it the content available on the modern consoles plus support for custom resolutions / fov slider that game would be even better.
Any way thank you for the reply! How did you learn to manipulate the drop rates for the game? Is there a place I can go to learn how to do so? I know you said its too much work but what about making it so that it's the weapon to parts ratio is such that you pretty much only get parts or as close to it as possible without breaking anything. Using Fluffy Manager it is pretty easy to activate / disable mods so having an option for weapon farming or parts farming would be an awesome tool.
Breakpointing around the files with hex editor and throwing away dummy accounts softbanned too. There is also the remodding community, bunch of helpful people there.
