This mod turned out exactly as I wanted. Extraordinary work from both JetstreemDan, and the sound cleaning expert "auto9" Destiny Ivey. Her sound clean up skills are really out of this world, and she’s an incredibly nice person, and a huge long time Robo fan as well. So If any of you that use this mod, and have the time, please visit her YT channel and give her some love. She’ll be very happy from that.
Excellent work on the mods; however, I have noticed that the audio does not seem to appear during cutscenes. I have installed both the footsteps and the gun and holster sound mods ( and all the others ). However, during the real-time cutscenes, the OG sounds for both still play. They modded sounds do work fully during gameplay sections, though.
The footsteps sound a lot better now, but It would be cool if whenever you are aiming using the iron sights you would also get that high-pitched printer scanning sound effect to complete the entire movement sounds for Robocop.
Music mods will eventually be done at a later time. Main focus now are the mods for the scanlines, the crossair, and changing the target register function to another button instead of the aim button. For more detailed info, please visit the project's main thread:
Right now after the four released movie sound mods, this Rogue City Mod Project of mine is in kind of a stalemate because now I really need to get in contact with modders who can do visual and gameplay mods. So if anyone can find an experienced modder who knows about UE4 and UE5 modding, please contact me, and let me know, as I’m quite busy with work, and don’t have much free time to do the searching myself.
I have two visual mods in mind, and one gameplay mod, and I’ll post an updated description of the mods here so you can just copy paste it to let the modders know what needs to be done. And I’m also willing to commission these if needed:
1.(Visual) A mod that always shows the scanlines when controlling Robo (without needing to hold the aim button), but not show the scanlines in cutscenes. There is a scanlines mod out already, but unfortunately, it shows even in cutscenes, and I would prefer to have a scanlines mod that don’t need to be toggled on and off manually, and also without needing to use the Reshade program.
2.(Visual) A mod that only shows the crossairs when holding the aim button, and also that hides the dot when in holster mode.
3.(Gameplay) A mod that changes the button for registering targets instead of the aim button. I hate that it’s the same as the aim button. Should have definitely been on another idle button instead. I want the mod to tie that target register function to another idle button on a Xbox One controller(I prefer playing on controllers), or on any keyboard or mouse button (for the keyboard and mouse users).
If these are done, I will be able to do even more mods that increase the immersion even more. This project is far from done, but I need help now to keep it going, guys.
