This mod uses extracted source code from J's mod with the animal changes removed due to them not working correctly and the mod author (for their own, presumably respectable, reasons) not updating nor responding to posts.

This mod is an updated version of the aforementioned linked mod. However, two main features are missing from this mod: the animal changes and the auto-tool switching as well as the keybinds for those actions. If you don't know what the mod does and are interested in becoming enlightened to such information, please click the link which should take you to "Lots of Farming Changes." It's a cool mod and the only reason this one exists; the original mod author did amazing work, but for their own reasons, they haven't updated nor responded to posts. So, even though it took me a few months of on and off inspiration, motivation, and ChatGPTing, I hereby introduce you to the spiritual update of "Quality of Life Farming Changes"!

~Disclaimers~
I know n o t h i n g about what J-dawg's code is originally written in.
I also know
n o t h i n g about de- and recompiling in anything (for reference, I used dnSpy to extract the code and Visual Studio '22 to recompile), but doing that was required in order to (re)build the .dll, which I know n o t h i n g about. I ended up having to make a .dll from scratch, which I (you guessed it) know n o t h i n g about, and I had to manually move lines of code from the source to ChatGPT for revision and then to this mod bit by bit. I also went through each line of code, simplifying multiple lines as per Visual Studio's "Intellicode" recommendations.

Long story short, through hours of ChatGPT consultation, headaches of frustration, more hours of trial-and-erroring code I didn't understand, and even more hours of testing and failing...I did it...!  Maybe, luhl. 

~Extra Info~
Before using my specially crafted revision of J-homie's mod, please keep in mind the following:
- Bugs will unabashedly be present, and I will not know how to fix them.
- Things will undoubtedly not work, and I will not know how to fix them.
- Functions will indubitably fail, and I will not know how to fix them.

However! I've tested up to Fall of Year 1, and I haven't seen anything that is glaringly messed up, except my music skips sometimes and the radial menu ignores configs and just sits at 9 for both tools and seeds. 

~Instructions~
1. Put the QualityofLifeFarmingChanges.dll into your "plugins" folder of BepInEx. If you don't have BepIn, you can get that in a handy dandy mod (that comes with an overlay I mention in the next sentence!) from this glorious person's Nexus mod page.
2. Run the game once to spawn in the config.ini file (which would materialize in the "config" folder of BepIn) if you want to edit manually, or when running the game press "F1" to open the BepInEx Plugin/Mod Settings overlay and change things from there.  

~Final Words~
Please don't ask me to fix things unless you want to work on them with me, because I will not know how to fix them.

If you're interested in having the animal changes or keybindable actions with the tools back in, feel free to leave a post about it! I'm open to collaborate with you, but I'd be little more than moral support since, if I haven't made it meticulously clear enough, I don't know what I'm doing and I probably only got this to work through sheer willpower, determination, and dumb luck.
