Is this mod really needed? I was able to get the game to run pretty good on a Gen 3 i5 cpu and a 1GB Nvidia workstation GPU just using lower settings in the base game. (Not my main PC lmao)
I'm rather certain there are hardware situations where this game is virtually unplayable To what degree one considers what "virtually unplayable" is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Needed or wanted sounds like subjective opinion
laptop player here and uh, lowest settings run at 20 fps looking up... id have to act like im trying not to look at the eyes of an enderman so it doesnt render everything all at once
Hey, im copy and pasting this to speed things up that way everyone knows about this, but i just released my new graphics options mod! Advanced Graphics This mod adds in game settings in the graphics options for you to toggle on or off shadows, trees & foilage, and change the view distance! It also saves locally in your game folder where the exe is! Feel free to ask any questions. Enjoy and thanks for the feedback!!
4k resolution all quality and AA settings off vsync off Before: 45-60 FPS Frametime all over the place After: Solid 60 FPS everywhere now with ~30-40% less GPU usage and much more sold frametime
Sure trees hotkey or switch would be nice for some folk and if not I'm all good as it is, great mod for folk with a desire for more FPS!
Hardware: 8809G @ 4.2 GHz all core GTX 1080 (non-ti) @ 1987 MHz no thermal throttle
- Performance tip: Set the Power Options control panel option to: High performance This game uses a lot of single threaded CPU and balanced power options seems to cause issues with changing the boost frequency in an attempt to save power

I would like a hotkey for the mod to keep the render distance at the default setting, so you can still get the performance boost from removing foliage, trees, shadows, etc but still being able to see a relatively good distance from you, thanks.

hey bro, where did you find those settings, having the mod loader gives me steam conflicts, i want to manually tweak the settings but i cant find them anywhere
With schedule I, i had to search through the scene a little bit to find the gameobjects holding these graphics options, wish it was that simple. Thanks!
