Hey, I'm having a bit of an issue getting where default sword animation tracers(the white/greyish streaks the sword leaves when moving fast) are still present while using combat arts. Everything else has been working correctly but those default white lines look so out of place with such a cool looking sword. This is, however, not present when I actually use divine confetti or follow up a prosthetic art that covers the sword in flames. The default white streaks do return after the designated time of the effects expire. I assumed the "chr" folder replacement would fix this but I don't know what's going wrong. Please respond whenever possible.
These effects are inherent to your sword, you will notice it on charged light attacks too. Apart from manually finding every white effect on each attack and making it invisible theres not much you can do. I personally liked the highlights but that's just me ig
I merged this mod with the Great Shinobi dodge mod. and I noticed that when my sword is sheathed, the effect is there. But when i begin walking with it sheathed, the effect disappears. Not a big deal for me as I rarely have the sword sheathed, but I just wanted to know if it was something I did when merging or not
Nah it's an issue with character states that I havent managed to fix yet. I uploaded this version anyway cuz I didnt believe leaving it as an idle animation for now to be a terrible choice. You didnt do anything wrong dont worry lol
Download sekiro mod engine Download the top 2 files of this mod Put dinput8.dll and modengine.ini in your \Sekiro folder Move the contents of this mod's zips to \Sekiro\Mods
Move the sfx folder to \Mods. If you have conflicting mods then download the "For Merging" file and follow the instructions there. If you need help with anything add me on discord; worstsniper11
I made a new spEffectParam that gives you the vfx without the buffs (3455), then applied them through either RoleParam (id 0) or EquipParamProtector to assign them as resident effects on all 4 skins. Then I set the spEffect to chain with 100281 which runs every time your sword is sheathed or unsheathed, this stops it from deleting the effect whenever you enter an area like temple or kuro's room.
