To anyone like me struggling with getting this going on Steam sekiro. When you download the files of this mod, there is a text file with links to configuration settings for PS controller and xbox controller. You must open those links in your browser, follow the prompt to open steam settings, and use that configuration when playing sekiro. This fixed the "I can't bind anything" issue I was having.
I am just about to try this mod combined with "Sekiro Long May the Shadows Reflect Mod" for some incretible fighting experience and I am just wondering (and that's very, very important to me): Do you need to load a save with all of the weapons and skills unlocked, or could it be a NG+ with most of them unlocked? I suppose I just need to get through the game's prologue to the point when I can use them, and then load the mod. Please let me know, I really want to try this mod but I don't want to spoil my playthrough
I'm sorry to intrude, but I cannot get this to work. I wholly admit this is due to my lack of knowledge and experience, but I cannot understand what I am supposed to do. I thought it only required downloading Cheat Engine, starting the game, then selecting the game from the drop-down menu, then activating the script. Cheat Engine only ever freezes and I have no idea what I am doing.
Having said that, this is an amazing idea for the game! I'm sure for those who have gotten it working this mod has made Sekiro a completely new and interesting experience. Although I cannot share personal experiences, your work is greatly appreciated. I hope you get the recognition and kudos you deserve for creating a fundamentally fantastic option for gameplay.
I was able to downpatch to 1.04 using the guide above. However, Steam was forcing me to update when I launched. I solved this by following the instructions in https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=885555151
The 4th comment on that thread by steam user sjain, do what he says and you'll be able to start your game in 1.04 :)
Update 2: Once I toggled on NUM LOCK on my keyboard, the Mod works! And wow does it make the game better! It makes me ask myself why they didn't just make the game like this in the first place (instead they made dedicated buttons for interactions and eavesdropping lol).
This mod combined with the free spirit emblems and unlocked framerate mods is how the game could and should have been.
So, have somebody, by any chance, tried this mod with 1.06 update? Is it playable? (Damn you, Steam, why did you have to remove the depatching option!)
Hello, it seems CA input doesn`t work at all....I can activate CE but VK_NUM1 & NUM2 don`t work like your video....there is no mention in Lua engine -CA MOD ACTIVATED- CA Starting Address should be: 7FF4279DA098 CA Equip Address should be : 0x7FF49E7AFC70 -PROS. MOD ACTIVATED- Pros. Starting Address should be: 7FF4279DA07C Pros. Equip Address should be : 0x7FF49E7AFC54
After activate, I push NUM1 but there is no CA popup in Lua engine window, is there any solution for this issue?
Okay, for people having trouble with getting this to work, the last step was the steam configuration to allow for mode shifting on LB and RT. Follow all the instructions, and you can either change the configuration yourself to allow for mode shifting, or just copy past the configurations provided, and let it take you to Steam, and apply one of them. Just spent a couple hours looking for answers and that was the only thing missing.
Sorry for not understanding but where do I find the xbox 360 config? DO I need to be able to connect a 360 controller to find it? I'm trying to connect an xbox one controller and am just confused
