The steps are incomplete written by a peon. Make sure to download not just the file link in the steps(the actual program), but actual sekiro ps4 texture override file as well obviously(dump iGP11 in the game folder, it will have texture override folder in it with ds4 prompts.) If you don't place it correctly you will need to change the default override path and dumping path etc. Start program after installing(shortcut should be on desktop) then under executable file path point it to sekiro.exe (dont mind dark souls 3 name etc) unclick all the effect crap(HDR, luma etc) Go to Textures, override mode on override, then Launch Game below it.
Thank you for writing this. As you and others have pointed out the creator's instructions are incomplete and assumes you already know how to use iGP11.
For everyone having trouble getting this to work, please follow michal8881's instructions, they're correct. The mod itself works great.
I appreciate you trying to help, but even your instructions are confusing me.. can someone spell this out in a more simple method.. I downloaded both files.. I put the entire 2.2.1 folder into the steam/steamapps/common/sekiro folder.. Now what?
ok ill try to tell you guys step by step how to do it... forgive my english spelling
1> Download IGP11 mod manager thingy from https://www.nexusmods.com/darksouls3/mods/28/ 1.5> install it in the game folder 2> Download the mod file from this page it should say iGP11 With a file named tex_override in it 2.5>extract it and put it in the game path too...dont extract the tex_override only!! extract it so it will have an iGP11 file name with the tex_override file INIT 3>Launch the iGP11 mod manager you downloaded at the first step! 4>ok now FIRST you click on the iGP11 - standard mode option THE TOP ONE! 5>Now modify the Executable file path and put your sekiro.exe in. 6>go to Plugin settings and put rendering mode to NONE. (we dont care about the profile) 7>go to Textures and put detail level to DEFAULT and override mode tooverride 8>leave depth buffer alone 9>under the depth buffer option there is an Effects options DISABLE them 10>now go back to the iGP11 - standard mode option THE TOP ONE and click launch game... 11> thats it hope it helps! im using ds4 windows btw so i dont know if it will work without it ...
i think the igp11 is necesary with this mod because if you use the other mod on this site with less hassle it runs without launching that program but you need to have the steam legal version not the cracked one.
Can you please in depht explain what to do? I copied your download into the tex override folder but it didnt change anything and this program is way too overcomplicated.
