Changelogs
Version 3.43
More bug fixes... pretty sure I got em all this time... Also decorated areas Ashina Outskirts, added unique enemy patrol routes at the castle and the outskirts
Version 3.42
Ironed out the rest of the issues introduced in 3.4, tweaks to npc battles in the outskirts
Version 3.41
Fixed many of the bugs introduced in the last update.
Version 3.4
Improvements to npc wars, more enemy variants in Senpou Temple and Ashina Outskirts/Castle, world changes and many bug fixes.
Npc wars:
- Two of them now feature an ashina seven spear and new enemy types listed below. - Many of the stronger enemies on the Ashina side were given infinite sight distance, longer hearing distance and infinite return home distance (assuring they all hunt down the closest enemies until they win or die off)
New enemy variants (for spice):
- Dojo Swordsman with clothes similar to Nogami Gensai (the guy in Hirata estate who helps you kill drunkard), attack logic varies, stats vary - Various Ashina generals wearing somewhat unique armor combinations, attack logic varies, stronger stats than the default variant - Senpou temple staff monk with 1 deathblow marker and a unique outfit, appears once. - Brown monkey swordsman with a hat, with identical AI to the white variant, but with weaker stats (Only appears outside the sunken valley) - Ashina grunt elite - He's your typical spearman, but has straw clothes, a hat, and a sword on his hip. Improved stats.
World Changes:
- in Sunken Valley: You can now see Ashina outskirts and castle with far greater accuracy from the graves outside headless, Ashina Reservoir more accurate. - Stuffed some good candies in some of the nooks and crannies of Senpou temple. - Abandoned dungeon idol removed - Other aesthetic changes here and there that I don't think they're important enough to list.
Fixed many bugs.
Version 3.3pre
The path you take to get to the Demon of Hatred no longer cuts off at the burning gate and the idol that teleports you has been moved to the ledge closest to the castle gate fortress. Complete with a shit ton of fire effects and some enemies. However, these effects don't deal damage and appear regardless of how far the story has progressed. You'll definitely experience some other oddities, like the silvergrass field' s texture popping in when you step out of the tunnel. The reason I'm uploading this is because I don't see myself coming back to this project anytime soon. Just need a break from Sekiro and map studio fr
Edit: During the final stage of the game at the top of Ashina Castle, Isshin is fighting off some Ministry gooks. Forgot to remove it, was just having fun, it's not a dysfunctional feature. (He desperately needs help pls help him)
Version 3.2.5
mainly bug fixes.
Version 3.2.1
-forgot to change the reservoir idol's spawn point back
Version 3.2
- Elaborated on the additions to the foutainhead palace from last update (I also removed those buildings from the divine realm to preserve the otherworldliness) - Added a building to the Ashina cityscape - You can now access the roof of the castle gate fortress post demon of hatred via grappling hook just for the view - Moved the Ashina Reservoir idol to its original location - Added some leaves to the ceiling of the robert bridge - General decorations for the reservoir and outskirts
- Generally polished all I could. I can't remember every kink I ironed out (and failed to iron out) or everything I added so I don't have a complete list this time around, but just know that's all I did for 2 days straight.
Version 3.1.5
Features and changes: > Divine Realm redone (buildings, mountains, more trees) > Fountainhead Palace stuff (better white gecko placements, two mountains with little pathways up to archways with ropes hanging between the peaks, more I think?) > I decided to scrap the massive trees forming a canopy above Fountainhead palace. In hindsight, I think they obscured too much of the palace, clashed with the vermillion bridge's color scheme, and weren't that lore-friendly. Considering there's a much smaller tree referred to as "The Great Sakura" in game. Reduced the number of sakura flowers in the water and loose branches on the floor I added back then. > Changed the "Palace Proper" idol to "Quaint Temple" > Added a lone copy-pasted shinobi miniboss to the castle gate fort post-demon of hatred (uninspired, I know, maybe I'll think of something better) > Moved a ninja early in Hirata estate from a roof-top to the ground bc he would refuse to get down
Fixes: > Fixed terrain popping in around the base of Mt. Kongo while on the castle rooftops (especially while going in or outdoors) > Fixed some terrain to the left of Mt. Kongo popping in right after leaving Dilap Temp > Fixed an invisible but functional river in Mibu village > Fixed a floating roof near the entrance to abandoned dungeon > Improved cutscenes in the castle tower lookout: Scenery should be much higher detail, some little holes in the ground geni looks over the balcony > Removed a seriously out-of-place river outside the wedding cave door
Version 3.1
Features - Decorations for Ashina Castle exterior and interior: Doors which can't be opened and exist to give the impression that there is more to the castle than just a couple rooms and a main hall, + some pots, some plants, etc. Added banners on all sides of the Castle Tower Lookout. I think that'll be the last time I touch Ashina Castle, any more shit might be overdoing it. - Renovated the Castle Gate path with some banners, trees, leaf-falling SFX, and wooden structures (see image #15) - View of the valley behind the Silvergrass Field is now accurate from all angles it can be seen from + expanded it with more fog and trees - Made it so that the gate behind the "Ashina Castle" idol closes only after invasion phase 1, instead of always closed. (it isn't hard to find a way around) - Slightly buffed an Ashina General on the castle gate path who's chilling & taking in the view of Mt. Kongo and the Silvergrass Field
Bugs Fixed - Gybou/DoH arena floor being invisible for a until you walk around - Certain far away buildings and terrain disappearing while fighting Geni for the first time - Missing textures on some objects like torches, bridges in Sunken Valley have been fixed (had to replace those far-away bridges in the outskirts in order to do this) - Distant buildings not loading while standing in a specific place in ashina outskirts - Fixed some holes in the cliff to the right of the castle - Cliff in Mibu village had a big hole in it
Version 3.0.1
- Fixed the world temp disappearing when grappling to certain things after the first mini boss - Fixed some floating mountains which could be seen beautifully from Genichiro's cutscene - Fixed the floor disappearing in the new building (next to the castle) at night - Fixed some floating rocks near said building and a floating piece of roof
Version 3.0
- Decorations for Hirata Estate, Ashina Castle interior and exterior, Mibu Village, Ashina Reservoir - Added a new building next to the castle - Back end of Senpou Temple is now visible above the Guardian Ape's Watering Hole - Mountain range behind the Silvergrass Field improved (less fuzzy tree hills) - New NPC battle in the reservoir - Restored secret passage door - Some props (like barricades or wagons or supply boxes) will appear or disappear appropriately based on the state of the war - Little tweaks to enemy placements - Fixed some unlisted bugs
Version 2.9.1
Fixed Gyobu not showing up to his reflection of strength, and corrected a few geometry errors
Version 2.9
- Ashina Outskirts got is name changed to "Ashina Township" bc its no longer on the outskirts of Ashina. Probably a placeholder name. - Decorated Hirata estate just a lil bit - Gave all the ashina soldiers (sword/pikemen dudes) more survivability during the npc wars - Some more bonfire menu pics - Mibu village/hidden forest area now has very very tall mountains surrounding it to reflect its placement in relation to Ashina Castle (which is below the reservoir fog, to the left of the town area) - Bug fixes, polish, misc tweaks... (I think all issues with the grapple branches added by the mod have been resolved, except for a 2 or 3 which still suffer from some reduced world-flickering)
Version 2.8.1
Fixed the cutscene where Kuro hands you kusabimaru
Version 2.8
- The Sunken Valley is now visible from Ashina Reservoir, though it is mostly obscured by fog. - You may now see Ashina Reservoir, Ashina Castle and Mt. Kongo while decending the valley - Fixed a lotta bugs - Altered an enemy encounter in Senpou Temple - Added some birds flying around in the reservoir area - Added some bow stands on the castle tower lookout - Other stuff I'm sure...
Version 2.7
- Mt. Kongo can now be seen from Ashina Outskirts and vice versa - View of Ashina Outskirts from Sunken Valley headless cave is now accurate - Ashina Outskirts visible from the far end of Silvergrass Field + clearer view of that castle gate area on fire - A slighty nicer dilapidated temple - Nerfed all the drunkard gank fights
Version 2.6
- Area behind the Moonview Tower looks much deeper to no longer contridict the existence of the sunken valley (that's where the map editor says it actually is, and the serpent shrine path clearly leads down to that area in vanilla from far away angles. The sunken valley isn't actually that far down though, the walls of the gun fort part of the valley are about as tall as the moon-view tower, and sits comfortably in the middle of the pit. the more you know) - Added mountains FAR in the distance to for aesthetic purposes and to cover up a huge crack in the map left by the developers visible out the right side of castle tower lookout - Made the abandoned dungeon idol more tolerable by moving a zombie and fixed a dude who was slightly floating nearby - Added two decaying bridges above the sunken valley idol and one bridges over Bodhisattva Valley - Decorated a storage room in Ashina Reservoir - Added buildings to Ashina Reservoir area - Added a vague respresentation of the ashina outskirts for the silvergrass field - Touched up a few rooms in Ashina Castle -You can now see some of the Sunken Valley above you in the poison pool ravine - New idol pictures for Outskirts Wall - Stairway
Version 2.5
- Sunken Valley Update a. You can now see one of the outskirts townships from outside the headless cave b. Added a mountain visible from bodhisattva c. Decorated snake encounter area d. Revised distant view from the plank where you plunge the snake e. Gave the guardian ape arena a touch of pizzazz with more lush plant life on the walls and some leaves on the water and a new waterfall
- Fixed big floating texture in bottomless pit again - Added a mountain range that blocks your view of lower senpou temple from certain angles, since there's supposed to be one there from senpou temple's point of view.
Version 2.4
- Removed a grapple point that lead to a broken building - Fixed soldiers walking off the arena in Gybou arena war - Antechamber npc fight rework - Ashina reservoir idol warp corrected - Fixed Fountainhead rope dude cutscene (most likely) - Fixed floating trees in Fountainhead - Fixed some cityscape not being visible from Ashina Outskirts - Ashina Outskirts decor/rework - Changed some enemy placements and decorated a few places I kind of neglected
Version 2.3
- Senpou Temple Update 3. More trees, sfx, props, etc. Added some land in the distance with buildings or trees on them. (Featured in video) - Fixed giant tree branches appearing in divine dragon's arena (the massive trees in fountainhead had to shrink to make that happen) - Decorated Divine Realm with big some trees surrounding the arena - Revisions
An extensive environment overhaul for all 12 areas in the game, with gameplay stuff like revised idol locations and new places to hook to. Most pieces of the environment don't have collision on their own, so I refrained from copy/pasting those decorations in combat areas.
Revised enemy locations, including new patrol routes, particularly in the early game.
Additional loot to be picked up in most areas to supplement the need to farm.
Some new enemy variants, distinguishable by new armor combinations and improved stats.
An NPC war that comes and goes with the plot (found throughout Ashina castle and outskirts)
