CRT effect is in the game because, in my personal opinion, it fits with the retro-futurism that takes place within the SIGNALIS universe. Also because it's a pixel-y kind of game, and lower quality graphics are heavily aided with CRT monitor's blurring things. Why to use it? IDK.
I mean it looks good, but it blurs text too much, to the way that you can't even see some button prompts, for example I couldn't make out the button for the map which is S
BepInEx was not running for me, evidenced by the lack of logs, even after following every advice posted in the other mod from the same author. In the end I was able to get it working by running the executable manually instead of running the game from the Humble launcher.
Sorry, I should've said Inventory not menu. In the screen shots provided, it is almost impossible to read the word "status" over the character's health, but using the mod makes it completely legible.
There's nothing wrong with the mod. I was asking if there is a way to make another option where the text is clear like in this mod, but keep the filters such as the curvature of the menu's and the scan lines. This mod seems to remove both of those filters from the screen shots.
This is not the right place for this comment, but.. can you link me any tutorials you used to get started making BepInEx mods?
I rudely learned I can't mod the UWP version of the game with UABE/asset studio, because UWP is a plague, so the only thing that works is bepinex plugins, and I know literally nothing about them or how to setup visual studio for it (which is missing from every guide I've found).
Aside from that, thank you for this mod. It's really hard to look at the UI in this game. Wish the dev just added an option to completely disable all the effects, as the "CRT" and "Film Grain" options don't do much (and CRT is disabled by default).

I tried everything I could think of to make them work, using this library: https://github.com/BepInEx/BepInEx.MelonLoader.Loader
ClearView worked, but none of the MelonLoader ones did. I would love some help since this mod is so incredibly nice to have on my poor eyes.
