Latest DLSSTweaks has renamed the DLL from nvngx.dll to dxgi.dll, as NVIDIA have disabled the nvngx.dll method from working on newer games - if you're updating please make sure to remove any nvngx.dll from the older versions!

This only applies to newer games which included DLSS 3.7+ by default though, if nvngx.dll worked on your game previously you can still try renaming dxgi.dll back to that, and leave dxgi.dll for other mods (DLSSTweaks does also support other filenames than dxgi.dll too, see the "Advanced Setup" section for more info)

the last two versions are still being flagged as trojan by Windows Defender. The other versions are fine:

    Date: 26/04/2025 13:04
Details: This program is dangerous and executes commands from an attacker.

Any chance you could find the name of the detection it's flagging it as? It should be something like Virus:Script/Name, if you could post that I can try reporting to MS as false positive.

MS says it might be listed in "protection history" section

      • Open the Windows Security app by searching the start menu for Security, and then selecting Windows Security.

      • Select the Virus & threat protection tile (or the shield icon on the left menu bar).

      • Select Protection history. Any recent items are listed.

If I'm using Profile Inspector to enable override and force preset letter, does that prevent Tweaks from allowing different preset letters based on Quality/Performance setting?

Tweaks should be able to override any preset changes from inspector/nvapp, but if you customized the resolutions/% of the quality levels DLSS can have issues finding which preset to apply, if it's using the normal resolutions it should work fine though.

I do have Image Scaling in Nvidia's Overlay enabled, but no specific values set for individual quality levels.

Is there a way to set a game to DLAA and have it scale between 0.8 and 1.0?

Or is scaling only available if the game has a setting for it?

This is being flagged as a fairly serious Trojan right now.

Think it was just because it was a new build, does AV still show that now? Which AV are you using too?

Virustotal is only showing 1 AV company in china has any detection now, false positive:

If you still get detection could you copy what it detects it as here?

Doesn't open or do anything. Windows 10, AMD gpu, trying to run it next to Oblivion Remastered exe. Just won't do anything at all.
Even tried disabling the windows security setting someone mentioned below and still nothing.

Eh why do you want to use DLSS with an AMD GPU?
DLSS is propriety technology and cannot be used outside of NVIDIA GPUs.

You should try to use FSR 4 which has lots of improvements and is very close to DLSS.

For me DLSS Tweaks works in reducing Ghosting with preset K in Oblivion: Remasterd with forcing Auto Exposure to ON.
BUT the game starts to stutter a lot because DLSS Tweaks writes the same three error messages to its log file 3 or 4 times every second (!) that the game does not use Auto Exposure. The Log File grew to over 5MB in just one or 2 Minutes of gameplay.

      Heres the error messages:
[2025-04-24 22:28:26.143] [warning] NVSDK_NGX_EvaluateFeature: game is using custom exposure value but OverrideAutoExposure is enabled, recommend setting to 0 or -1!
[2025-04-24 22:28:26.146] [warning] NVSDK_NGX_EvaluateFeature: pInExposureTexture set to 0, game might not be using custom exposure value
[2025-04-24 22:28:26.233] [warning] NVSDK_NGX_EvaluateFeature: pInExposureTexture changed to texture at 0x266b1215200, game using custom exposure value

And they repeat over and over again. Multiple times a second.

Ah that log spam is weird, hadn't seen that in any other games yet, will try adding a fix shortly.

E: pushed v0.310.2.1 with a fix for it, thanks for letting me know!

Important question: Does this work with RedM? I managed to add DLSS to RedM by inserting the nvngx.dll into the "subprocess" folder of RedM. But I can't get DLAA to work.

Problem solved, I was just missing a file. Just drag all the files into the subprocess folder

Doesn't work with current dlss 310.2
I tried playing cyberpunk and force it to dlaa from using performance mode to see if there is fps hit but nothing, so it mean dlss tweak doesn't work
