I may, if there is ever found anything of value. The ini files are a non-standard type, so would need significant backend work in order to parse correctly.

The problem is that I haven't seen any ini settings that actually work, besides the ones you can set in the in-game settings. It doesn't seem to have the granularity of control we have in the older games.

Hi, I downloaded the zip-file 5 minutes ago and received a warning by my antivirus sofware (Bitdefender) saying that a virus named Gen:Variant.Tedy.770462 is incuded in file BethINI.exe.
Now I´m of course unsure if I can use it without danger for my system.
Any advice? Thank you very much in advance.

False positive. These are common for mod applications.

Hi, for some reason my antivirus AND virustotal are both flagging the Bethini.exe file as containing a trojan by the name of Win64:EvoGen [trj]

From what it seems like, this is not a false positive, and I am concerned your tool may be infected with a trojan.

Looks like the antivirus company Avast (same company behind AVG) made a change to their machine learning algorithm and now is issuing a false positive. I need the Alert ID in order to submit it to them, or you can do so yourself here: https://www.avast.com/report-false-positive#pc

Ok good to know I was researching this myself. I submitted the Alert ID I received to them. I can still msg you the Alert ID if it will help in anyway. Will I have to do this every time? Even when the mod is updated?

why don't you just recompile it and fix the isuse, rather than having this version detecting as a virus?

Hello. This program saved my build when the shaders were broken. Rollback in the ini files solved the error. I wanted to ask you. If there were problems with the sound, namely! NPCs became silent against the background of music and other sounds, can this be somehow solved in the ini file settings?! I don't know English so well and for me the problem is to understand where to look.

Which game? Typically you can adjust sound volume in the in-game settings menu.

everything is fine in the sound settings. I have been modding Skyrim for quite a long time. I have over 200 active mods. everything was fine until I came across shredders. trying to solve them I messed up the ini files. then I found a mod for you. installed it according to the instructions and rolled back the ini files to the default state.

this solved the problem with crashes and loading shaders, but suddenly the voices disappeared. I'm not sure that the rollback of ini files is to blame, but searching the Internet does not give results. more questions than answers. installing fixes and audio utilities does not help. Actor Limit Fix (Special Edition) is initially in the assembly.

Now I'm translating each line of the ini file and searching the Internet for an answer to what this or that column is responsible for. The only problem is that I don't understand how a group of ini files is more important when I have 3 of them. The first is your program. The second is the game. And the third is M o 2

I expect that this is related to your language, and perhaps the language bsa got incorrect somewhere along the way. Possibly this could happen if you followed a full downgrade instruction, and perhaps the Skyrim - Voices_en0.bsa (I expect it is Skyrim - Voices_ru0.bsa for Russian) got switched. In the ini file this would be controlled by the sResourceArchiveList2 ini setting. Just change it to whatever Voices bsa you are wanting to use.

Text language is on the Basic tab.

This is driving me insane. I just installed this and I love the idea I love the interface of it and it works great. except for 1 thing. Anytime i use an INI created / modified by Bethini Pie my mouse is unbound by the skyrim window in any mode and my cursor is constantly moving to my second monitor and messing me up. I don't know what variable is being change by this but it's something.

If I stop using the Bethini Pie files and use SSE Display Tweaks INI files, poof its fine like it always has been and my mouse stays in skyrim and wont travel to my second monitor.

Happens in any mode. Full screen, borderless full screen, windowed makes no difference. 1080P 1440P all the same.

Anyone got any idea what variable is missing or getting added in the bethini that is doing this? I've tried just doing the basic bethini high files also choose the vanilla high default makes no difference.

I'd like to use this but I can't until I figure out what its messing up to cause this.

Locking the cursor as suggested is a feature of SSE Display Tweaks. Why would you stop using it?

Just because the config and management of INI files is nicer with this mod. I didn't realize it was actually a feature of SSE display tweaks I figured it was just some option that was being flipped somewhere in the ini. I been using sse display tweaks for so many years now I didn't even realize it was doing that too.

SSE Display Tweaks is absolutely essential, fixing many issues that otherwise plague the game. It is fully compatible with using Bethini Pie, and should always be used.

That didn't actually occur to me. I figured they were both just INI replacers and I couldn't use both at the same time. So I was always disabling SSE Display Tweaks since I was editing full screen mode, resolution and all that in both.

So I just commented out all the display size / resolution and such from display tweaks and let the original INI files manage that part.

      Seems to work.

Yes. Such a shame, as your ini tweaks should be mandatory! Lol.

Please may I ask why your choice not to support it?

Many thanks and have a great day buddy!

I don't expect there will be many useful tweaks for Unreal Engine like there has been for Bethesda's various engine iterations. I could be wrong about that, but a friend gave me a copy of the INIs, and there wasn't anything that appeared to need tweaking beyond what the game already exposes in its menu. Of course, I cannot be certain without examining the game myself, but I don't intend to purchase it at this point in time, as I feel Skyblivion will be a better way to experience it when it comes out later this year.
