No. I do not make extensions for any other application. It's open source so you're welcome to copy the logic, but Vortex is perfectly good to use for Unreal Engine games. I can't see a good argument for MO in these cases.
Thanks for this software, though there is something I do not understand, I use that with vortex of course, but after installing any mod I do not see the mod into the "SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Jedi Fallen Order\SwGame\Content\Paks\~mods" folder, this folder is always empty... any idea why? Maybe I should try to uninstall and reinstall vortex?
Edit: I uninstalled and deleted all and now it work after reinstall and deployment...
This extension adds Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order as a game supported in Vortex. Current the extension only supports PAK files, installing a non-PAK mod will result in a warning appearing.
You add this to Vortex, then you can manage mods for Fallen Order. How did you end up on this page anyway?
I would like to kinda of sorta piggy back off RalinDrakus and ask a question...
i downloaded the game while i had an EA Play trial. Sadly, one month later, after getting all strung out on JFO, my trail subscription to EA Play ended. flash forward 4mos, while trying to srping clean my HDDs, i realized i hadn't uninstalled the game. To make a long story short, i tried to play the game, it said i needed EA Play. But after a few well worded Google searches, i found that that game can be played without origin/EA/Steam, by just opening one of the exe files. Ok, now i've installed a few mods, and when i goto launch the game, it says i need to install origin. which is not happening, cause i literally have no use for them, so my question is, is there a workaround to have Vortex not depend on Origin to run? i've tried to point vortex to the correct folder, to no avail...it still yearns for Origin to hold its hand in opening.
I bought the game via Steam rather than Origin, however when trying to start the game in Vortex it told me I needed to download Origin. Did so thinking there was some kind of dependency from the EA domain, but now when I click play in Vortex I get an error from Origin saying the game has not been downloaded.
Is the Steam copy not supported by Vortex? Searched google for an answer and came up empty.
