Hey, I'm not progressing in beast handling at all, like it's not moved from 0% after days of riding my horse. I have the convenient horses mod, the Name Your Horse mod and campfire and Hunterborn, could it be one of these causing this? I've looked all over the mod pages and I can't find a solution, I even made sure I was using the most recent version of the mod. This is a problem over all my saves. I'm using a regular horse bought from one of the stables in Skyrim.
I'd like to second this. Also it's definitely NOT other mods, I tested it with only campfire and its requirements on the save and I still can't progress in the skill, even after riding for literal days.
A great addition to Campfire and works perfectly with Hunterborn, I love these skills! One problem I did have was the animal handler skill tree - no matter what I did, no matter how long I spent with my horse, I was not gaining any perk progress with it. I removed any mods (convenient horses, AFT, all the usual) that may have affected it, but it made no difference. It seems that you're supposed to get some basic skills when you start this mod that give you the ability to start taming creatures, but this didn't happen for some reason. I ended up having to give myself the tame animal ability with console commands, and now I've started to gain perk progress in this skill with my tamed fox, Secunda. Apart from this little bug, the rest of it works perfectly and is great for an immersive playthrough! Works very nicely with RND, Frostfall and the rest. One of my favourite mods so far.

I would like add this mod to my no-kill playthrough.

It unfortunately requires hunterborn as a hard dependency.
