Hi there! I adore this mod, but for some reason, the 'I love you. Serana' Dialogue option has suddenly vanished? Is this just a bug? And would you just suggest resetting the mod? Many thanks!
Is there a way to reset relationship option?, I ve choose non romantic option in the past playthrough And now I want to switch to the romantic one. How do I do it? Should I reinstall the mod or?
For the serana date, am I supposed to only take her to the Ancestor Moth Sanctuary if I choose a beautiful place option? I thought of having the date at the Evergleam Sanctuary, since I never was there this playthrough.
The dialogue option "Here we are" (I don't remember the exact wording) never showed up, though. Either way, it did appear when I got to whiterun and I just decided to use it at the bannered mare.
It has a condition to check if you're at a player home or inn (just so that you aren't doing it everywhere everywhere like in a dungeon or in the wilderness).
I'm saying I already tried and it didn't work. Which had me coming here to just offer it as a suggestion/ asking why it wasn't an option in the first place.
However, I do enjoy the mod. Being asked if I was alright when confronted by the DB kinda surprised me. Can't wait to see that part of the Ashe mod

I can't see or find anyway to assign Serena a home. Ive gotten to the point where I'm "married" to Serana and we're talking about adoption, but she goes back to castle Volikhar every time when dismissed. She never wears her assigned home outfit and when in any of my homes and there's no real way for her to do the whole "mother" bit when Sofie (adopted) is in Proudspire and Serana is back on the island. I find it curious that You can give Serana a "home outfit" and she makes comments on your hearthfire built homes saying she'd like to live there but no way to give her a home without another mod. Am I missing something? What mod do I need to get that is compatible with SDA to enable her to live in my homes and have proper home/wife/mother interactions?
There's no hearthfire child/wife dialogue. There is a home marker feature that you can use though in the tactic/option menu. Should be in the follow setting subcategory or something like that.
Love the mod, thank you for all your hard work! I'm finding that Serana fails to initiate conversations with me in many of the side quests that she's supposed to. She'll still speak her lines out loud, but she won't initiate "conversation mode" which means that I'll have no idea that there are responses I can give, which in turn would lead to further conversation with her.
If I press the "talk" button on her while she's speaking one of these "conversation openers" out-loud, my available dialogue options will appear and I won't miss the conversation. I've taken to doing this every time she talks about a quest so I don't miss any content, especially since these two-way conversations are the most in-depth interactions she has outside the Dawnguard quest line.
But if she's just speaking isolated voice lines which are not supposed to be the start of a conversation between us, attempting to "talk" to her will interrupt the line. Causing me to miss that content. So it's sort of a damned-if-you-do, damned-if-you-don't situation.
Is there any fix for this, or any way to know which lines are conversations I'm supposed to activate and which lines I'm supposed to just let her say out loud? Or perhaps has someone made a mod that forces her to initiate conversations with you when she has something to say?
Examples I've already come across: The Black Star (Azura's Star Quest) - After you first pick up the star she asks you if you're going to bring it to Azura or Nelecar - After you kill Malyn she asks you what happened A Deadra's Best Friend (Talking dog Quest) - After you first talk to the dog Serana comments on the conversation you just had Good Intentions (College of Winterhold main quest line) - After the monk from the psijic order stops time and speaks with you in the Arch-Mage's quarters, Serana asks what's going on
There's no way to fix it, these are idle comments that trigger when the condition of the quest is met. They aren't force greets or dialogue options you select.
Yes you can install the mod mid-save if this is your first time installing it. If you're referring to already having the mod installed previously but uninstalled it, then no, don't install it back. You shouldn't have been able to even uninstall it completely as typically it will cause save corruption (since the mod is too big for that). For any future updates, make sure to uninstall all older versions before installing the latest one. Cure dialogue is under the "Do you have a moment to talk". If you get stuck trying to cure her (either because you can't wait the time it takes for her to decide to get cured, followed by another couple of days to get cured) or because it bugs out, then do "setstage DLC1SeranaCureSelfQuest 100" to have her instantly cured without issue.
Oh okay..its just that i cant get to work the flowergirls patch when i reinstall the patch hub..so i thought maybe reinstalling SDA might solve the issue
Hello! First off, amazing mod. This has elevated my companion experience ten fold. Having a partner that actually interacts with the world, and even has dialogue with other mods, like Inigo and Sofia has been SO fun. I appreciate the hard work you've put into it.
I do suddenly have an issue though. I've had Serana with me for about 25 or so levels, and everything has been working great until now. Today, I started the Molag Bal questline, and it seems to have broken Serana. After exiting the house in Markarth, I can no longer speak to her. There is no option to interact with her, and this issue is somehow persisting even after reloading a save from before I've entered the house. I'm not entirely sure how to fix it. I've tried enabling and disabling her, summoning her with the spell, using the resetai command, and quitting and reloading my game. I'm not sure what to do. I feel as though this issue may have been brought up before, but the comment search on Nexus is currently down, so I cannot look it up. Any help would be appreciated, as I'm not really sure I want to persist as this character without her as my companion. Thank you again for the great mod you've created!
Reload the save to before you started the quest and make sure that you're friends with Serana already. Then go inside and do the quest, but don't interact with the locked door inside that causes things to fly until she has started and finished her commentary. Proceed to finish the quest and she should have some extra commentary and things should be normal afterwards.
