I really wanted to beautify the place, while leaving it still looking civilized, and to add some missing features. The Dovakiin quarters should not be too hard to find. The new Eastern access is to/from a corner of the courtyard. The main clue for the secret hidden chest is on the description page. Veteran players will get the idea quickly. All assets are vanilla, so your replacement textures are preserved.
Regarding screenshots, colours tend to appear more saturated than they really are. The city is all yours! Everything should work as intended. Endorse if you like it!
If you use legacy of the dragonborn, there is a pine(?) tree on the stairs leading to the front floor. You can pass the tree, but i'm not sure about npcs added as museum visitors.
The added foliage certainly brightened up Solitude - the city does deserve sprucing up considering how "darkness is drawn to it," as their priest of Arkay puts it.
The exit near the Blue Palace is very convenient, but I especially like the Dovahkiin guest room. Can't believe you shrunk a smelter for it just to make everything fit! The weapons & other items in the chests there are quite welcome - they'll be useful for a new play-through. Thanks for creating this!
I guess the only question I have is, why do we have 2 statues of Dibella - one near Thane Bryling's house, and the other in the Bard's College lot? The one near Bryling's house can be activated for blessings, but the one in the College can not. Was that intended mostly for aesthetic purposes?
Sorry I didn't see your question, Q! The backstory for the statues is simple. The Bard's college had a competition for best statue, with the winner displayed in their courtyard. Thane Bryling purchased the runner-up for her garden. There is a special reason that it is placed there. If you poke around the garden you'll discover the secret. Yep, authors do actually think about these things, especially when we are all in forced isolation! ~GMF~
Have to admit the city looks pretty. There's a tree that kinda blocking the entrance, for Player Character should have no problem to find a way around it but for NPC/Follower, they kinda run in place try to pass through the tree. Maybe you can have that particular tree removed. Haven't check everything extensively but it should be compatible with LOTD.
That small tree closest to the entrance is now disabled. It looked a bit sloppy, so it's gone. With all the talk of immersiveness, I think that's important. Thank you for that report. Keep me posted about any other concerns you might become aware of. We players/modders make Skyrim what it is. ~GMF~

If you still experience anything odd, post about it here.
