Hello! I would like to reiterate here, I'm not the mod author, I just ported the mod. Thanks again to soldierofwar for letting me port your excellent mod! Please use a new game with this mod! It absolutely will cause issues like missing doors and beds if you don't! If you have an issue while testing on a new game, please let me know.
Also, since it's a big overhaul, any mods that effect interior cells in Kynesgrove will absolutely need patching- permissions to publish any patches are open, I'm not sure how involved in patching I'll be.
I am no longer providing support for my LE mods, as I'm now focusing on my own mods for SE.
I will not be providing patches for mods that I don't use, as it's boring and I'm only modding for my own entertainment.
Backport tutorial is here. A good tutorial on how to make compatibility patches is here (NSFW site!)

Problems? Bug reports? You need to do these steps first.
Test with a minimal load order (ie., this mod and Dime's Quick Start) Almost every single time the 'bug' being reported is actually a mod conflict. If this fixes your problem, add back other mods and rearrange your load order to proceed to test things out. Please don't count on LOOT alone to sort your mods, using xEdit and learning to manually resolve conflicts yourself will save you some heartbreak.
Test on a new save
Check the other comments and the Bugs tab to see if someone else has had the same issue, and how they fixed it.
If your issue is not fixed after trying the above, feel free to make a post (please mention what you did to try to do to fix it!) That being said, I tested this mod with an otherwise empty load order and encountered no issues with the vanilla game.
I "JUST" installed this beautiful Mod with an "Old Save File" that i had ..... it's a save file with OVER 870 hours of gameplay !! ---!!!... THIS MOD WORKED LIKE A CHARM MAN, THANK YOU SO MUCH ....!!!---
1.(Outside) - The only problems i had was, 2 lamps on the street, which was i guess from "Lanterns of Skyrim" mod. (very easy to fix with...) ---> install "Jaxonz Positioner" and pick up these 2 lanterns, (which were floating in the air) and change their position just below, into the ground, so that they look like they were placed into the ground in the first place.... ..... That's it problem solved !!
2.(Inside) - The other problem i noticed was that, the old building from, the tavern i think it was (which is hidden and NOT visible anymore)..... i opened the "console command" and typed in: tcl This turns the collision OFF, so you can "clip" your character through the walls, floors, stairs, etc. I did this just to "check" out IF there was any other problems ... and i found out that 2 NPC's were stuck down there. So, i fixed them again with "Jaxonz Positioner" and brought them back to their original place (which in this case was on the streets outside), then i went back again to this new mod's tavern, closed the "cliping command" and exited the tavern building. The 2 NPC's were standing outside now... ...... problem solved again !!! MOD works PERFECTY !!!
Thank you very much for porting this over! For those wondering about installing this mid-playthrough, yes the inn's interior will have a number of missing items (mine still spawned with the beds thankfully), so I used jaxonz positioner to manually add the missing items in the inn, including the big firepit. I referenced the images/vids of the interior to let me know what it should look like. It probably takes an hour or so to get it done up, but it lets me enjoy this mod with my existing character that I've already spent countless hours with. Also, I did not yet encounter any missing doors/game-breaking moments.
That's groovy! I'd love to use the mod! And do! Sadly I have a bunch of new saves, surely the mod will be fine without having to create new characters just to play it midway?
Not sure, but if it were me, I wouldn’t risk it. I haven’t tested *this* mod with an old save, but while testing the COTN series, it leads to missing beds/beds clipping through walls, missing walls, and no doors leading out from interiors. The new interiors are quite different, much narrower
JK's Skyrim doesn't alter "mine only" towns, so Darkwater Crossing, Shor's Stones, Stonehills and Kynesgrove are all untouched by JK. ETaC does alter all of those tho, so does Holds The City Overhaul, so be aware. Be ware? Beware??? I dunno which is correct lol.
E:
"it leads to missing beds/beds clipping through walls, missing walls, and no doors leading out from interiors." That's why you need a new save, this happens when you test a mod such as this without restarting. Such things are baked in your save, and they'll remain there even if you install a mod that alters those.

have you happened to try the Great village of mixwater mill? If so, do you see the same issues with its turf roofs?
Also, I did not yet encounter any missing doors/game-breaking moments.
If not, can a patch be made please?
This seems like an awesome mod

I've never had that issue ever in my skyrim game...
But that's fine, I guess I'll be the one doing the second testing;)
