-Installation-
0. Manually download the version you would like to use to a temporary location.

1. Extract the file to a temporary location.

2a. Open the Core Presets folder and then open ONE(1) preset folder that you would like to use.
Refer to (2b) for information on choosing a preset.
Copy all SEVEN(7) loose files and then place them in the same location as your Skyrim.exe file.
Open the Data folder and copy all FOUR(4) files into the Date folder where your Skyrim.exe is located.
2b. Core Presets Folder Description
i. Low: Superb ENB-RL with no SSAO. Recommended for low to medium PCs.
ii. Medium: Superb ENB-RL with Performance SSAO. Recommended for medium to high PCs.
iii. High: Superb ENB-RL with Quality SSAO. Recommended for high to ultra PCs.

3. Go to http://enbdev.com/mod_tesskyrim_v0132.htm and download the file to a temporary location.
Extract the file to a temporary location. Open the Wrapper Version folder.
Copy the d3d9.dll file ONLY and place it in the same location as your Skyrim.exe file.

4. Open SkyrimPrefs.ini located in My Games/Skyrim. Change the following settings.
i. FloatPointRenderTarget=0 to FloatPointRenderTarget=1
ii. bTreesReceiveShadows=0 to bTreesReceiveShadows=1
iii. bDrawLandShadows=0 to bDrawLandShadows=1
iv. bShadowsOnGrass=0 to bShadowsOnGrass=1
Save and exit.

5. Open the official Skyrim launcher or another supported launcher and make sure the Realistic Lighting.esps are activated and in the right load order.

6. Start the game normally through the official launcher or another supported launcher.

7. If there is anything you would like to change afterward, check the Customization, Tweaking, Troubleshooting and Recommended Mods sections for details.



-Customization-
1. Open the Optional Effects folder and choose which effects you would like to turn on.
1b. Description and installation instructions for Optional Effects.
i. Cinematic Aspect Ratio: Adds black bars(small,medium or large) to the top and bottom of the game screen to simulate film like aspect ratios.
Choose ONE(1) size option and open folder. Copy file and paste and overwrite the one in your Skyrim.exe folder.
ii. Custom Anti-Aliasing: Adds SMAA to game to smooth out edges without blur. This is an alternative to FXAA and other forms of anti-aliasing.
Copy all FOUR(4) files into the same location as your Skyrim.exe file.
iii. Depth of Field: Adds blurring to certain areas of the screen to simulate focus and out of focus effects.
Choose ONE(1) of the following versions. Open folder. Copy file and paste and overwrite the one in your Skyrim.exe folder.
Bokeh: Depth of Field where out of focus areas reflect more light than Normal.
Bokeh + Film Grain: Bokeh Depth of Field with an added grain effect to simulate the look of old films.
Normal: Standard Depth of Field. Areas out of focus will not reflect more light than usual.



-Uninstallation-
1. Delete all SEVEN(7) ENB files from Skyrim.exe folder:
i. effect
ii. enbbloom.fx
iii. enbeffect.fx
iv. enbeffectprepass.fx
v. enbseries
vi. enbsunsprite.fx
vii. enbsussprite
2. Delete all FOUR(4) Realistic Lighting files from the Skyrim.exe Data folder.
i. Realistic Lighting Addon.esp
ii. Realistic Lighting Patcher.esp
iii. Realistic Lighting.esp
iv. RealisticLighting
3. If you installed SMAA, delelte all FOUR(4) SMAA files from the Skyrim.exe folder.
i. injector
ii. SMAA.dll
iii. SMAA.fx
iv. SMAA.h
4. Open SkyrimPrefs.ini located in My Games/Skyrim. Change the following settings.
i. FloatPointRenderTarget=1 to FloatPointRenderTarget=0
ii. bTreesReceiveShadows=1 to bTreesReceiveShadows=0
iii. bDrawLandShadows=1 to bDrawLandShadows=0
iv. bShadowsOnGrass=1 to bShadowsOnGrass=0
5. Load game through Official Skyrim Launcher.
Load a save, and overwrite it immediately with new save.
Exit the game, and resume your preferred game launching method.



-Updates and Changing Presets/Optional Effects-
To install a new version of Suberb ENB-RL or to replace one of the Core Presets/Optional Effects of a current version,
simply follow the original installation steps and overwrite files when prompted.



-Recommended Tweaks, Mods and Calibration Tools-
The list is getting too huge and is unnecessarily cluttering the Readme.
Check the Superb ENB-RL Description page for a full list and links to all Recommended Tweaks, Mods and Calibration Tools.



-Tweaking(Use your own discretion here, only you know the full potential of your PC and Display)-
1. Calibrate your monitor/tv to their optimum settings.
2. Read the ENTIRE Nvidia GeForce Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Tweak Guide and adjust to their recommendations
and/or your PC's specs.
3. Adjust base Skyrim Graphics settings from Official Launcher.



-Incompatibility-
Not compatible with ANY files that overwrite the d3d9.dll file that this mod uses.



-Troubleshooting(Try these solutions AFTER installing the recommended mods,
calibrating your display and adjusting settings according to the Nvidia guide.)
1. Bug Issues
i. Crash To Desktop?
(a) Make sure you are not exceeding the limits of your PC's specs.
(b) Make sure you are using the latest stable official GeForce/Catalyst drivers from Nvidia/AMD websites.
(c) Make sure you are using the latest stable version of Skyrim.
(d) Make sure you are using the latest stable Superb ENB-RL version.
(e) Make sure all files are in the appropriate locations.
(g) Disable as many active/background programs as you can. Disable GPU monitoring software, Steam Chat, etc.
(h) make sure you have an ENB d3d9.dll file in your Skyrim.exe folder.
or
(i) Delete d3d9.dll.
Go to http://enbdev.com/mod_tesskyrim_v0132.htm and download the file to a temporary location.
Extract the file to a temporary location. Open the Injector Version folder.
Copy these THREE(3) files and place the in the same location as your Skyrim.exe file.
i. ENBInjector
ii. enbinjector
iii. enbseries.dll
YOU MUST launch the Injector.exe file FIRST and leave it running in the background every time you want to run Skyrim.
After that, you may launch Skyrim using your preferred launcher.

ii. Transparent World Objects?
(a) Try different combinations of core presets and optional effects.

2. Performance/FPS Issues
i. Sluggish/Unpredictable Mouse Movement?
(a) Disable Mouse Acceleration(see Nvidia guide).
(b) Disable V-Sync/Triple Buffering(see Nvidia guide).
(c) Increase in-game mouse sensitivity to maximum.

ii. Low/Unstable Frames Per Second(consistently below 30FPS)?
(a) Try different combinations of core presets and optional effects.
(b) Disable as many active/background programs as you can. Disable GPU monitoring software, Steam Chat, etc.

iii. Long Load Times?
(a) Disable V-Sync/Triple Buffering(see Nvidia guide).

3. Too Bright/Dark?
i. If too bright, set in-game brightness to the minimum and move the slider upward until you are satisfied with the brightness level.
ii. If too dark, set in-game brightness to the maximum and move the slider downward until you are satisfied with the darkness level.
