You need to list requiremts even if they are optinal Also you should add "smp-pe path 0528" from the linked mod as a requirement for any backported mod with HDT-SMP https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/88416
Serious? When that's right, then I did with my ideas the whole complete wrong way while I backported mods for myself. I ask, since it's a hair mod. Nothing against that statement from you, but it doesn't sound good for me atleast....
When it's works, then I need to re-re-edit my edit on the main skeletons and wiring any xml to an another path maybe. :neph: anyways, I try it out - since I have backported the original SE Mod yesterday already and got no CTD with the helmet, even I use the LE HDT with an SMP setup simultaneously. The crashes are sometimes in the start up, but that's common with an experimental Setup I guess.
Edit: The Link on the main page has a typo in the https:// section.
The "smp-pe path 0528" is not the hair mod it is a plugin that you install over HDT-PE or the LE version of SMP-HDT that happens to be in the optional files on a hair mod. It makes SE SMP stuff work better on LE and sometimes you do not even need to edit the xml files because of it.
@ (turtlegodking): I have found on LoversLab a full 670MB+ Installer of SMP LE. And yes, I'm now trying to get every possible SMP SE bone into one Skel for porting references. So far I'm by near 1200 bones.
E: I think, I don't have it with the BB Codes, forgive me.
@turtlegodking (sorry for the late reply - have had some RL issues of any magnitude) after I've had some unwanted free time in my RL I decided to dig into the SMP schemata and how it works. It seems, that why in this mod the physics are working is: NiNode #0, where the Nr. 1+2 are used for the Physics and the associated .xml file/s (plural needs to be checked, but when I think that it needs to be even before of any bones or models, two seperate loaders for the .xml files should work) otherwise it does not work - resulting in certain armors like the Xivilai bone association from Oblivion. (Yes, that's no lie. That happends when you have SMP armors which have the SMP Nodes/Bones around the hip and pelvis.) So technically my idea with making a universal skel based of either the helm.nif skel or any LE Vanilla HDT-PE skel isn't the wrong idea after all. I just forgot in the first run to check after the very first node as Physics loader... When I'm done with this experimental idea and it works as wanted, I'll may add this as a modders res for everyone to backporting SMP Armors from SE/AE to LE (naturally when I have the perms to release the upgraded one - otherwise it would be fruitless).
OneKnightlyBoi has exactly that said NiNode before every Bone and 3D Model. And that why it works.
Although I don't like the Colors (which is easily changeable with a good graphical editor), it has a good design, the SMP in LE works Perfect thanks for this Port !!!

Would it be possible to port and merge in this recolour as well? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/85211

(I should of said this before)
So I would have a look at that
