Thank you for a great armor set. I love that it is kind of refreshing, yet still lore friendly and not to "outlandish". It fits my female character so well, and I really like that it looks comfortable while also being armor. 🌹
Two things I noticed: - both belt sets have an axe, which is sad, since I love the belts (I would love to wear the one supposed to be without an axe) - the outfit with skirt - the skirt "rips" below my bum when running, meaning it is like the skirt is split and the leg shows when running
Really appreciate that you maintain your mods and that you upgraded the stats for this mod - made its armor rating better and an easier choice for main armor. Thank you again - you have made so many great mods.
All the best - Kathy 😊
PS: Also have Twilight Princess and Dark Knight armor (all CBBE)
Hi Kathy! Belt Without Axe fixed in the last v1.3 version. The skirt rip is a problem with the original model, I tried to fix it, but it only got worse. So I decided to leave it as the original mod. But I'll try again someday. And thanks for the heads-up!
First with the CBBE for some reason both meshes for the belt includes the axe. And without the CBBE (I think it's naturally UNP) there's major clipping on the boots while walking.
Outside of that I adore this mod and have endorsed.
Treasure Hunter is a decent mod to match this one. Otherwise for Xtudo, Raven would work too. I think there is a male armor of the same name or close, looks similar too.
I like this one a lot - it's nice but not too fancy for the grit of Skyrim.
A quick bug report - the base outfit meshes for Winterhold 0, HaafingarGND and The RiftGND have the wrong blouse textures.
And not bugs per se, but the armor values are ridiculously low, and I think the furs really should count as armor. I bumped them up in my game so that they're comparable to other nice mod armors (11 for boots and bracers, 35 for outfit, 36 w/skirt, 12 for fur, 14 with shoulder) and that worked pretty well. It makes the set slightly weaker than glass overall.
The only other thing I noticed was that the weighting on the skirt needs some work. I fiddled with it a bit, but didn't get the solution I wanted yet.
And since it seems that all I've done is complain, let me reiterate - I like this one a lot. It just needs a bit of tweaking I think.
Hi! Thank you so much for the wrong textures heads-up, it's fixed now (v1.2). I also liked your suggestion for better armor stats, so I implemented it. Just one thing, any extra armored piece, not been body, head, hands or feet will broke the Marching Set and Well Fitted Perks. That's why I always do extra items clothing. I tried a lot to improve the bones of the skirt, and I didn't like any of the final results, that's why I left the skirt as the original mod. If you manage to improve it, please let me know. Kudos for you!
After fiddling with them entirely too long, I had a revelation regarding the skirts. The vanilla game already has similar skirts that work right - how do they do it? So I loaded one up, and it's deceptively simple.
With the vanilla skirts, the entire surface is weighted to the pelvis, and most of it to the pelvis only. There's a strip across the butt that's strongest, then it's a gradient out to the edges and down to the bottom. Nothing's weighted to the calves and there's just a little section in the upper corner of the mesh - essentially the upper outside part of the butt - that's weighted to the thigh, and that's all.
That makes the entire skirt sway back and forth and shift up and down with the movement of the pelvis, and the upper corner rolls and shifts with the movement of the butt, and that's it. The rest is just free.
The only problem with it is that the skirt itself is rigid - it moves back and forth and up and down as a whole. I can see how the vanilla skirts dealt with that - they have a shape designed so that as the skirt shifts back and forth, it creates an illusion of flowing around the legs - but that would require some pretty extensive editing of these meshes, and I don't think it's that big a deal.
I am a bit late , but here are my screenshots ! the armor is extremely beautiful , and some pieces ( furs , capes , etc... ) work well with other armors or clothes .
Three more screenshots . ( That's better with this hairstyle , even with a little clipping with the fur ) . That would be great to have another pair of gloves without the metallic plates to fit the fur without shoulder pad . But i can use other leather gloves .
Oh, Kstudo, my file doesn't have a patch for SMP physics. There's only Body Slide and, partially, HDT physics of the buttocks and stomach. I deleted the chest physics, because it doesn't work with the CBBE preset. That is, the butt sways when walking and jumping, but the boobs don't. But the boobs remain under the armor, so everything is logical! )))
Excellent mod! I've been wanting for a long time to find an armor set that matched my usual for my dovahkiin. Raven is a good go-to too my Dragonborn, but aesthetically Einherjr matches Treasure Hunter perfectly!
Thanks for another great mod but if I may ask a question; is there any specific reason you made the bracers take the forearm slot instead of the actual Arm slot? It kind of forces you to find a gauntlet that would match the aesthetic of the armor set and be in the light armor category for some Light Armor perks to work.
EDIT: Scratch that, I just checked and Light Armor Perks do indeed work perfectly with the forearm bracers.

Endorsed.

Just wanted to share.

PLEASE make a male armor too, my Nord would look awesome with this piece of kit.
Regardless of still not having it, endorsed for such level of quality :)
