Hey guys. So time to come out of the shadows and introduce myself formally to you all.
A few months ago I got permission from Nikinoodles to take over Cloaks of Skyrim and ever since then I've been working on a big 2.0 update. The update isn't done yet, but some of the features will be: - Higher resolution textures with more detail and more definition to the textures of each cloak - Better UV maps that will waste more space which means significantly more quality per resolution size - More cloaks including tattered variants and more DLC options such as cloaks based around Dragonborns story. - I'm also moving the whole mod over to a texture sets method instead of using meshes which means the entire esp structure will change, and there will be a much smaller download size.
Also Nikinoodles gave me permission to handle all the admin and permissions side of things as they aren't really involved in modding any more, so if you have questions about permissions and asset usage, feel free to direct them at me now. Anyone who made patches or used assets while Nikinoodles was AFK doesn't have to worry about it as as far as I'm concerned, you're all good now. This still stands as well which is quoted from Nikinoodles old sticky post (which I unfortunately had to unsticky as there was too many replies to it and it was just cluttering up the page).
If you just wish to use one of the cloak meshes for an armour/clothing/companion mod, then go ahead. You have permission to use the resources for anything along those lines. If the request is something larger, then still fire a PM my way (now fire it at Nazenn please) and I'll try to respond. And no I don't want the entire mod uploading to Steam Workshop in my absence, ha.
Any other questions, let me know, but I won't be doing ETAs on the update or going into too much more detail at this moment, at least not until the update has some more progress behind it.
Yeah, your cloaks, mutes the footsteps of the player, might wanna fix that, lots of people think its there computer or mods from AOS immersion, so uh, yeah
I have finished translating the Korean version of Cloaks of Skyrim and would like to upload it to Nexus with permission from the author, Noodles. Is that okay?
Hello everyone, I downloaded this mod with a cbbe body modification mod and after that, women's raincoat stretches into a huge stump into the sky, I realized that I needed to throw some kind of blinder, but I don't understand anything about it and was advised to look for presets that are already ready, maybe someone has something similar or someone Can it help to make the mods work together?
Hey a question for ANYONE who sees this: how do I go about crafting the ARMORED versions of the Fur Cloaks? I have them craftable on the console but I don’t know how to go about making them on PC, so can ANYONE help me out here?
I'm having an issue where anytime a female character is wearing a hide cloak it causing extreme stretching across the entire screen making it impossible to see anything. My only way around this is to try going towards the character while looking at the ground then using the console to kill them and take the cloak out of their inventory. Is there any fix for this?
The mod is amazing! But bacause of the clipping with some armors i'd like to hide the cloak sometimes without removing it (so i can keep the enchants active). Is there any way to "hide" the player cloak while having it equiped? Thanks
Hi, the mod is working just fine, i don't see any problems so far. But i have one question, Is the cape really shows no model in the tanning rack when about to be crafted as well as in the inventory? Its kinda bugging me that i have to load my game multiple times just so i can find one that suits me. Thanks..
