=====3.0a===== Fixed an issue where the Soldiers in the Imperial Patrol closest to Riften did not have the vanilla faction required for Civil War dialogue. Fixed an issue where NPCs would not level with the player. Fixed an issue where certain voice types in the already limited vanilla leveled list had a higher chance of spawning.
===Updating=== You can update from 3.0 to 3.Xx without issue. Updating from 2.4.4 or lower to 3.Xx requires a "clean save" or preferably a new character/playthrough.
Hi. I have a very old version of the mod Immersive Patrols - Immersive Patrols Aggressive(Immersive Patrols II.esp). Version 2.0.2. Is it ok to update to the latest without starting a new save?
If not what is the latest version that I can update to without starting new save?
Your patrols at Haafingar near Solitude and in between Dragon Bridge sometimes spawns Imperials or causes them to go to the nearby Haafingar Stormcloak Camp and occupy it. When you pass by it on a new/refreshed cell block, it causes the newly spawned and reset Stormcloaks to fight them and cause a CTD if you try to pass by too fast. Clearing the camp or killing the Imperials seems to fix this issue but it causes a reproduceable CTD every 7 days when the cell is regenerated again.
I moved the Stormcloak and Imperial Patrols off the same path as the Thalmor (map image should give a better idea of what I mean) for this specific reason, they would sometimes "leak" off the navmesh flagged as prefered path and end up fighting the essential Stormcloak leader in that camp indefinitely. Are you sure it's Immersive Patrols? Bethesda has a World Event spawn box on that same path.
Have many thanks for this great(!) Modification. I think it's great when there is a little more action on the streets and this mod fits very nicely into the atmosphere and enhances it very well.
Edit: I use in my old Save the Version 2.0.3 from your Mod "Immersive Patrols". I would ask: Can i owerwrite the old 2.0.3 "Immersive Patrols.esp" with the new Version 2.0.3 or is this a problem (and then the mod "Traveling Merchant Caravans" to this)?
Background performance cost (installing the mod with no patrols in sight) is less than a frame, very difficult to tell without checking frametime in milliseconds with a Ryzen 5 3600.
As for when patrols meet depends mostly on your CPU and shadow map resolution. In combat you can lose any where from 3-30 fps but on average over they years of personally buying budget only parts I lose 5-12 fps depending on location.
I'm having problems with aggresiveness. After I finished jagged crown, imperiais GUARDS are aggressive towards me, so I can't roam cities like solitude, for example. If i uninstall this mod, it solves the problem, but I really like it. Is there a way to solve this issue? Tks!
I don't really know or even guess, maybe a patch ? Been long time since I did the jagged crown, since I'm not really thingy into civil war, but the quest is like a first step into chosen side, while if doing it for storm cloaks, which is how I think you must've went, near the end you can still take the crown to imperial side n give it to tullius, and he will accept it, but you wont / might not be given any armor , that you'd have to get urself , and your not officially /publicly imperial side , ...
There are solutions in the description under "Known Issues."
That being said are you sure uninstalling Immersive Patrols made the Imperial Guard no longer hostile?
IP NPCs only look and behave like the factions they mimic. They do not belong to either of the vanilla Civil War combat NPC factions "CWSonsFactionNPC" or "CWImperialFactionNPC" and are not assigned a crimefaction. I really can't think of a reason why uninstalling IP would make a non IP NPC stop attacking you or remove you from "CrimeFactionImperial. IP's custom factions are designed to circumvent this very issue.

I do hope you'll add them soon on a separate file.
Edit: Nevermind. I found it!
