   Given I saw Wordeee had given permission to update this mod to SSE, and that nobody had done it, I went ahead and did it myself. SSE version can be found at https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/30042.

   Very good audio for thunders but there's some crackling on the low end for the distant thunder files and some slight hissing (sounds like rain). Tested with my Sennheiser HD 800 S and HDVD 800 DAC connected to PC via optical cable.

      You should however open and save the ESP plugin in the 64-bit Creation Kit to make sure everything is updated correctly.
      
      Wordeee, will you port this mod for Skyrim Special Edition, or give permission for the mod to ported and uploaded to the Skyrim Special Edition Nexus?

      I'm glad you are still enjoying this mod. I haven't played Skyrim in quite a while. I had to move etc. I may revisit it though!
      You are welcome to port it to the special Edition Nexus.

    This doesn't seem to work well with Opethfeldt ENB + Opeth Weather.
