Yeah, I'm a little late, but welcome to the modding community! I liked your first try and am still using it. Think I'll have to try your matching armor as well (didn't know you had that out!)

Glad you like it, hope others also realize that I made a matching armor and go after that too, they work well together

It seems you may have lost some contrast. I'd go into your levels (ctrl+L)and "crush" the blacks a bit

Thank you very much, playing around with this and it seems a lot better already!

Ignore the trolls. I don't understand why there are so many on the nexus.

    Hello Trolls!
Well besides that, the reason I made this was because people seemed to like my previous glass enhancement, and were asking for a retex of the weapons too.
If this isn't your cup of tea, oh well not my problem.

"Hello! I learned how to start "Photoshop.exe" and to press CTRL+U!!! And now I'm going to fill skyrimnexus with thousands of my shitty recolors!" <- Isn't that beautiful? <3

Hrm.. ctrl+u, never tried that before, might do that tonight if you don't mind. The way I did this was using colors with low opacity, didn't use any brightness on this because it seemed to make the texture go the way that I'm trying to avoid.

However! thank you for at least commenting, lets me know that people who download this are still alive afterwards

Good for you, now if you can learn to read and follow the rules, you'll be doing grand! -DarkeWolf, Nexus Staff

So... what did you do? It just looks like you upped the brightness of the colours.

I wouldn't call this an enhancement over a recolor. It doesn't seem like there is an increase in definition at all, rather it looks like you just made the weapons brighter and more saturated.

Not for me, but good effort.

Though it seems kind-of washed out, I wanted to avoid looking like many of the other textures out there where they have an electric green to everything that seems too overwhelming. This is meant to have a better tone, and by more definition I mean not for the resolution but that the glass actually seems like something besides a dull grey crystal in elven armor.

One should be careful when using words like 'definition'. As it stands, the green you are using looks washed out more than anything. I don't see where this is more than just a recolor.

Nothing wrong with recolors if you like the color better, of course.
