    @sc0608023

    Well it really removes the killcams alrigh shame it screwed my menus (they are red ) and the mini map is busted.

    And no the "Fix guide" you provide its crap, there is no such lines in the the skyrim ini to remove in the first place like they say to remove as a fix, so if the lines are not there to beggin with how can you remove them to fix the problem ?

    (the "fix" provided its to remove this from Skyrim.ini)
    rUIMistMenu_AmbientZPosRGB=0,0,0
    rUIMistMenu_AmbientZNegRGB=0,0,0
    rUIMistMenu_AmbientYPosRGB=0,0,0
    rUIMistMenu_AmbientYNegRGB=0,0,0
    rUIMistMenu_AmbientXPosRGB=0,0,0
    rUIMistMenu_AmbientXNegRGB=0,0,0

    fMapMenuOverlaySnowScale=0.0000
    fMapMenuOverlayScale=0.0000

    this lines are not in ANY of the skyrim ini files i found.

    I did a system wide search for every single .ini file related to skyrim, found out a bunch of them, not 1 single file had those lines, now im stuck with red menus and loading screens and a screwed minimap because i cant even reverse the dam bVATSDisable:VATS 1 to 0 i already tried to put it back to 0 and im still looking at red and busted maps.

    Edit: After much fighting with this crap i finally figured out, acording to the "fix red tint" guide we have to delete those lines from the skyrim.ini file , problem is they are WRONG, the game dosent save the settings to the skyrim.ini, when we use the saveini command (DONT USE IT, its bugged to hell and back) the game dumps a ton of useless trash to a RAMDOM named ini inside the data folder , im my case the random name was the name of the last mod i had installed, if you find yourself with the red tint and map problem just go in the data folder, look for the ini file with around 43kb size, open it, search for those lines to confirm its the right ini file, exit and delete that file , its useless and creates a bunch of problems with the game because theres ALLOT of trash inside that its not even used or recognized by the game (its from previous games like fallout, gotta love recicled engines lol )

    I don't know what people are crying about but mine works just fine
    all you have to do is open you skyrim.ini look for [VATS] then go under vats
                                                                add/tyep   bVATSDisable=1
    save change and your good to go mine works just fine after that injoy replaying the game

    Works great when the killmove happen in the view it was intended. But when you are in first person and it plays a 3rd person kill move, it's just playing whithout animation... Is there a way to still have the killmove in 3rd and 1rst but with no slowmo ?

    IMPOTANT:

    If your kill camera doesn't change at all after editing Skyrim.ini file as mod author instructed, here is what you need to do:

    1. Open your game. Now you can see your main menu.

    2. Push "`" key (which can be found left to "1" key) to open the console.

    3. Type:

    setini "bVATSDisable:VATS" 1

    Remember, double quote notes are needed.

    4. Hit Enter.

    5. Type:

    saveini

    6. Hit Enter.

    7. Exit the game.

    8. Profit.

    Now, if you're experiencing red logo on main menu and/or messed-up map, please go to

    This is a guide of how to fix it!

    So i have Dances with Death and I enjoy 3rd person kills, will this conflict with it if I play first person?
    please respond quickly.

    Haha nice. Works well with The Dance of Death so you get to enjoy all the kill moves without it feeling like it's interrupting your flow.

    Endorsed.

    This is epic. Kill moves in first person, punching people in the face and slamming them on their head. Love it.

    Thank you so much for this, my kill moves were bugged to crap and now they work! And the console help and red menu fix were very useful.
