Common Issues: -There are two versions of SPERG in the mod configuration menu. FIX: Revert to the last save you made before upgrading and follow the upgrade instructions. Versions of SPERG older than 4.0 must be uninstalled before upgrading. This is just a one-time thing - prior versions haven't required uninstalling, and future versions won't either.
-Skyrim crashes from the main menu FIX: This is commonly a missing master error and has nothing to do with SPERG. If you've added any mods recently, make sure they don't require DLC or depend on another mod that's missing or later in the load order. If you've removed any mods recently, make sure to rebuild any patches you made for other mods.
-SPERG stays installed even after uninstalling it FIX: This is another issue that doesn't have anything to do with SPERG itself. You're using a mod that requires making a custom patch, and that patch has stored data from SPERG. You'll need to rebuild those patches every time you add or remove a mod.
-The patches are still in the SPERG subdirectory FIX: They'll be there whether you install correctly or not. As long as you have the right patches in your Data directory, it's fine. If they're not there, copy them manually.
-The patches aren't in the data directory FIX: Some users are having trouble getting them to automatically copy like they should. Just copy the patches you need manually if this affects you.
-I'm gaining one perk every two levels. FIX: That's how it's supposed to work. One perk per level is too overpowered with SPERG's perks, so the rate has been reduced. If you don't like it, you can manually adjust it in your uncapper .ini.
I'm gaining a perk every level. FIX: Make sure you've modified your uncapper .ini to limit your perk gain. If you've installed through a program like Mod Organizer, you might need to manually edit the original uncapper .ini, or manually copy SPERG's version on top of it. Sometimes loading it through MO doesn't work.
-Sneak does not improve with skill FIX: The bug here is an incorrect value for the skill scaling. It's set to .005, when it should be 0.4 (or 0.2 for hardcore mode). You can change this value by editing the AutoSneak000 perk in TES5Edit, or you can simply use the console to add the vanilla Stealth perks manually as your skill level increases. You do this by typing "player.addperk 000BE126" where the string of numbers and letters is a code that specifies the appropriate perk. The perks are, in order from rank 1 to rank 5: 000BE126, 000C07C6, 000C07C7, 000C07C8, and 000C07C9.
-This makes the game way too easy. FIX: Everybody has a different idea of what they want out of Skyrim, and SPERG is meant to accomodate everyone. I think it works great for most people right out of the box, but if you find yourself wanting more of a challenge, try turning on "Hardcore Mode" in the options menu. If that's still not enough, there are plenty of difficulty enhancing mods that have zero conflicts with SPERG. Unlike most overhauls, SPERG isn't meant to be a complete game changer. It's actually pretty lightweight for how much it does, and so you can combine it with just about anything. This way, everybody gets what they want.

Hello! I have a problem. Every time I reload the game, all my perks are refunded. Don't know what could be causing it. I also don't have many mods (around 40) and no mods that also affect skill and skill progression (besides the uncapper). Could someone help, please?
Hello. It's not the first time I've installed this mod, but for some reason it doesn't want to work with Immersive Weapons and Immersive Armors. These mods add variations of armor and they are not affected by skills from the armor and weapons branch. PS. Sorry, I'm writing through a translator, I hope everything is clear.
I read on another mod page that SPERG erroneously bases the lock bash perk on 10 pickpocket instead of 10 lockpicking, but this should only matter if you're using mods that lower the starting skill level.
How do I remove crafting recipes? I'm trying to make a SPERG plugin for more convenient ingot transmutation (everything to gold and gold to everything else). I can create and add my new recipes just fine, but the old ones are still there. How do I get rid of them? "Deleting" the recipe entries doesn't seem to do anything, and editing them to have impossible requirements gets reverted as soon as I save and close the creation kit.
i see there's a cell location in this mod called the tower of doubt. seems pretty fleshed out area. is there anything to this cell or is it just used internally by the mod for storage ect?
I wanted to delete this mod and now my 50 lvl character is absolutely ruined and without perks. Is there a way to refund skill points or did I do it wrong
