Potentially good news! I am pitching this mod as a project idea to a club at my university that makes video games in order to see if I can assemble a large team of people to work on this mod with me. If the project is accepted, you can expect a whole lot of new content to be made for this mod in the next few months!
What happened man? Didn't you get a team to work on it? The only thing i want and the only thing i need in my life is a Rohirrim/Rohan armor in Skyrim.
I'm glad someone has taken upon themselves to create some of the lotr equipment that has been neglected. My personal favorite is the easterling armor, I actually found out about your mod just before requesting a set. Now I know very little about modding but one thing I've noticed, and you may have looked into this already, is that some people take armor meshes from other games and convert them for use in skyrim. If you are finding it difficult make the armor from scratch, I would suggest possibly taking the mesh from another game/mod. For example there is a lotr mod for Mount & Blade called Blood in the West on the mount & blade nexus, it has pretty decent easterling armor set consisting of boots, torso(with greaves), gauntlets, and helmet along with shield and weapons. I have no idea if this is do-able, but perhaps you should look into taking those meshes see if you can make the necessary tweaks, maybe a good retexturing, and you could possibly have great, nearly exact set of easterling armor useable in skyrim. Of course if you enjoy modeling then I would encourage that. Anyway, happy modding! Your efforts are appreciated.
