Leviathan gave me permissions to keep SUM up to date as needed as I update the SkyProc library. The current thread for SkyProc is on the Bethesda forums.

I just uploaded version 1.3.1 of SUM. The big new thing is the option to skip the Adding Masters stage of generating patches (if the patcher is made with a recent version of SkyProc) and instead use all your active mods as the master list. For large load orders or patchers that create a lot of new records this can save as much as 2/3rds of the patch time. To enable it check the All Mods As Masters For Patches box in SUM Options.

Sort your load order!
As of 1.3.1 SUM will no longer try and automatically try and run BOSS because this was causing as many problems as it solved and LOOT is out now. Instead it will rely on you having a working load order. This is very important and SUM, SkyProc patchers, and Skyrim will not work if your load order isn't sorted.

However if you had a previous version of SUM it might keep its old settings. You can change it under SUM Options.

A warning about merging patches
Merging patches into a single plugin is experimental. I suggest you check SUM.esp for errors with TesVEdit before playing. If you find problems with SUM.esp that are not present when the patches are not merged please report it.

Merging patches requires that you run BOSS or LOOT. Merging will modify your active plugins and if you don't sort it when it wants to run BOSS or LOOT something will most likely be wrong.

It is not worth the time at all. The patcher doesn't work in the sightest and im obviously not the only person. When i want to patch it recognizes "Dual Sheath Redux", then im getting a tiny window telling me to "please wait". It disappears and that's it. Complete waste of memory...

Thank you for this excellent utility! I use it to run the Automatic Variants patcher after setting the memory to 1000, and it runs properly.

all right, this is not the place for the question i'm about to ask. but i'm searching for a skyproc patcher wich ''dynamically remove the unplayable flag from vanilla items and mod-aded items'' i recall using this at some point in the past but i can't seem to find such a things anymore. don't get me wrong. i searching for it, but i think i just didn't get the name or keyword right for it to pop-up in either google, nexus, or even my nexus download history. if anyone remember such a thing, i'd really, really love to ear it. i'd like to humbly thank you (random nexus user or even sum project worker if they soo wish to) for taking the time to read my post.

by the way. sum is a great tool thank you Dienes for your work on keeping this up to date.

Heyas. I just installed Java, SUM, and DSR, but when I run SUM it auto-crashes. I have loot sorting disabled (Because it breaks my damn game 100% of the time) but no other options altered. Anyone have any ideas? Any help appreciated, thanks :)

Yeah, a lot of people have been having this problem as of late. No one seems to have a fix.
One thing I should note: If DSR is the only mod with a SkyProc patcher you have there is no need for SUM. SUM is only useful when there are two or more SkyProc patchers that need to be managed.

How do I actually access the settings for each skyproc patcher from within SUM? I try to click on the arrow for Automatic Variant settings for example arrow but nothing happens.
