- Changelogs
-
-
Version 5.7
- Fixed issue with the "Legendary" version where tempering with the Basic Smithing perk wouldn't work in most instances.
- Fixed issue with the FOMOD installer which could result in the wrong version of the ICH patch being installed in some instances.
-
Version 5.6
- Updated the Advanced Armors and Advanced Light Armors perks to address a bug that was causing some tempered items to be improved more than they should be.
- Updated the Manual Installation Instructions for increased clarity.
-
Version 5.5
- Corrected the texture for the Elven Gauntlets so they match the appearance of the rest of the Elven armor set.
- Corrected the texture on male Nightingale torso in order to remove the brown tones and better match the rest of the armor. Also fixed the Glossiness, Specular Color, and Environment Map Scale on Nightingale torso meshes. Male torso was also using a different cubemap.
- Corrected the textures for all of the Orcish weapons, as well as the shield, so that they better match the armor. Fixed the overly bright texture of the Orcish sword.
- Changed the armor value for the Dented Iron Shield so it's slightly lower than the regular Iron shield. Added a new model to distinguish this shield from the regular shield. Credit to Gojirex for the mesh.
- Some of the bandits, bandit bosses, and afflicted, had specific daggers in their inventories. These have been replaced with leveled lists that follow WAFR's weapon progression.
- Renamed EnchDwarvenBowTurn03 (000ACB93) and EnchDwarvenBowTurn04 (000ACB91) to "Dwarven Bow of Aversion" and "Dwarven Bow of Repulsion" in order to be consistent with the changes that WAFR makes to other Turn Undead enchanted weapons.
- Created a female sleeveless version of the Dawnguard "Red" Armor, so it now matches the male version. Having the male and female armors match more closely helps the crafting recipes and survival keywords stay consistent regardless of sex.
- Created a female short-sleeved version of the Dark Brotherhood Shrouded Armor to match the male variant. Renamed to Shrouded Short-Sleeved Armor, made playable, and added tempering recipe.
- WAFR changes which perks affect the improvement of certain items. Some of these changes were not reflected in the crafting requirements for those items. The following changes have been made to fix this issue and make the perk changes in WAFR apply more consistently:
- Renamed "Orcish Smithing" to "Advanced Heavy Smithing"
- Renamed "Advanced Smithing" to "Advanced Light Smithing"
- Elven Gilded Armor requires the Advanced Light Smithing perk to craft.
- Stalhrim Light Armor requires the Glass Smithing perk to craft, and Stalhrim weapons require either the Glass or Ebony Smithing perk to craft.
- The following items now require the Advanced Heavy Smithing perk to craft and improve: Steel Plate, Nord Hero weapons, Nordic weapons and armor, and Chitin Heavy armor.
- The Ancient Nord Honed, Blades armor and sword, and Skyforge weapons will now get improvement bonuses if the player has the Advanced Heavy Smithing perk (instead of the Advanced Light Smithing perk).
- Disabled the weight slider for female Ancient Nord Helmet (and female Orc version).
- Fixed ugly hole in female 1st person mesh for Thieves Guild armor.
- Fixed 1st person appearance of female Guild Master's Armor (and other Thieves Guild variants).
- Included missing Penitus Oculus bracer mesh for female Khajiit and Argonians.
- Fixed wrist misalignment caused by female executioner armor mesh.
- Changed DLC2ItemArrowsAll leveled list to conform to WAFR's Dwarven>Elven>Orcish progression. (True Orcish versions only)
- Changed CWRankRewardImperial and CWRankRewardSons leveled lists to conform to WAFR's Dwarven>Elven>Orcish progression. (True Orcish versions only)
- Changed one of the instances of EnchOrcishBattleaxeMagicka04 in LItemEnchOrcishBattleAxeMagicka to level 21 (rather than having two at level 22). (True Orcish versions only)
- Changed CWFinaleFactionLeaderSwordList leveled list so EnchOrcishSwordAbsorbH03 appears at level 15 and EnchOrcishSwordAbsorbH04 appears level 17 (they were previously reversed). (True Orcish versions only)
- Temper recipe created for Leather Hood (ArmorTorturerHood). Disabled if CCOR is installed.
- WAF_ArmorSwapScript added to MQTorturerHood (will convert to ArmorTorturerHood upon being picked up by player).
- Changed Iron Greatsword in Jorrvaskr to an Iron Sword in order to fix the fight scene between Njada and Athis.
- Renamed Dawnguard armors (removed color from name, added "sleeveless" to the red version now that male/female both match).
- Renamed Guard's armor, helmets, and shield so they would sort better and also so that all guard gear uses the name of the respective regions/holds (instead of some using the name of the Hold and others using the name of the city).
- Renamed the Windhelm Guard's Shield to "Stormcloak Shield" to stay consistent with the Stormcloak armor.
- Changed the weight of the Silver Sword and Greatsword so they are more consistent (one-step lighter than iron version).
- Added "VisuallyDark" keyword to Ebony Mail.
- Renamed "Exploding Bolts" to just "[xxx] Bolts of Fire/Shock/Ice" so they would sort better in the inventory and crafting menu.
- Fixed a few light gloves/gauntlets that had incorrect WAF_PerkFists keywords (these keywords are used by CCOR).
- The enchantments found on the Vampire Armors are now associated with one of the color variations. Destruction = red; Conjuration = dark gray; MagickaRate = light gray.
- Standardized EnchWeaponFrostDamage01 naming convention to be '... of Chills'. Previously some were of '... of Chills' and some were '...of Cold'.
- Updated stats for Blades Sword, Bolar's Oathblade, and Dragonbane so they are consistent with how we've been handling katana's in various mods and patches.
- Corrected EnchDwarvenBowTurn03 "Dwarven Bow of Aversion", EnchDwarvenBowTurn04 "Dwarven Bow of Repulsion", EnchElvenBowTurn03 "Elven Bow of Aversion", EnchElvenBowTurn04 "Elven Bow of Repulsion", and EnchElvenBowTurn05 "Elven Bow of Turning" so they no longer revert USLEEP price changes. (non-True Orcish versions only)
- Added "keywords" bash tag to appropriate plugins.
-
Version 5.4
- Created new ArmorAddon records for PenitusGloves to direct beast races to use the proper mesh.
- Added WAF_ArmorMaterialAdvanced keyword to DBArmorSP.
- Renamed "Dawnguard Full Helmet" to "Dawnguard Heavy Helmet".
- Renamed "Fur Guard's Boots/Gauntlets" to "Guard's Fur Boots/Gauntlets" to prioritize that they are part of the "guard" set.
- Renamed "Banded Iron Armor" to "Iron Armor with Pauldrons" so it will sort alongside Iron Armor and is consistent with naming convention used by Steel Armor.
- Renamed ArmorBanditCuirass to "Fur Armor with Sleeves" and removed "Sleeveless" from name of ArmorBAnditCuirass3.
- Renamed "Scaled Horn Armor" to "Scaled Armor with Horns" for better sorting alongside Scaled Armor.
- Removed changes to Ulfric's Armguards. Since CCF was altering all three pieces of Ulfric's gear, I decided to remove the changes made by WAFR to Ulfric's Armguards to avoid confusion and keep the changes to the entire set together in the same mod.
- Removed edit to Ulfric's gag that was causing it to appear invisible.
- Changed General Tullius' Armor to light armor and adjusted the stats accordingly.
- Re-added the non-playable flag to DLC2GeneralCariusArmor.
- Copied True Weapon adjustments to Hack & Slash and Limbsplitter perks from the WAFR Legendary Plus file into the stand-alone TrueOrcish&DaedricWeapons.esp file. This change was only made to the DG+DB version of the file, meaning there will be a slight inconsistency in the bleed damage values if you're using one of the other standalone True Weapons files.
-
Version 5.3
- Kahvozein's Fang will now also work when equipped in either hand.
- Ancient Shrouded Armor is no longer getting doubled tempering bonuses from the Smithing perks.
- Added injected keywords from USKP and USLEEP for Linwe's Armor and Blackguard's Armor (added to armor records and Matching Set Perk). WAF adds the ArmorMaterialThievesGuild keyword to these items, so they were already getting the matching set perk, but adding the injected UP keywords keeps the perk consistent with other mods that might make use of these injected keywords.
- Minor adjustment to prices of Skyforge Dagger and Sword, Nord Hero Sword, Windshear, and Scimitar.
- USLEEP FIX: Carried over Name and Enchantment value for Bonemold Armor (changed from Fortify Light Armor to Fortify Heavy Armor).
- USLEEP FIX: Carried over Name correction for DLCEnchArmorStalhrimHeavyHelmetMagicka06
- USLEEP FIX: Carried over VendorItemWeapon keyword added to CO6BladeOfYsgramor "Wuuthrad"
- USLEEP FIX: Carried over Enchantment value changes (mostly Steel & Imperial weapons)
- Compared other fixes in USLEEP/USSEP to make sure that WAF is up to date with all changes from USLEEP v3.0.11/USSEP v4.1.1.
- Removed 1st person data from ThievesGuildLeaderCuirassAA and ThievesGuildCuirassGrayAA_WAF, so that the female first person textures would show up correctly when worn by a female character.
- Added non-gendered male/female iron and draugr helmet variations.
- Removed 'Can be picked up' flags from Dwarven Sphere Bolt and Dwarven Sphere Centurion Arrow.
- Added new female executioner textures created by Gamwich. Added new texture size options in the installer.
- AMB Skyforge Weapons:
- Removed USKP aliases from the C00 quest to update compatibility with the latest Unofficial Patch changes.
- Updated for compatibility with the latest version of Even Better Quest Objectives (v1.6.3).
- Added CCOR-compatible crafting and breakdown recipes for the additional skyforge items. These recipes will appear if the user has CCOR installed.
- Updated distribution by adding skyforge weapons directly to Eorland's leveled list; this should allow them to be more reliably available for sale. - Immersive Weapons Patch:
- Added conditions for future compatibility with CCOR v2.
- Fixed incorrect BAMT (block material) and INAM (impact data) for the Sorrow Daito.
-
Version 5.2
- Corrected condition on the Smithing Perks that could have potentially resulted in the perks not applying properly to certain items, though I think that the only vanilla item affected was the Shield of Solitude. Applied the same condition fix to Limbsplitter and Hack & Slash, even though I'm not aware of any items that would be affected by this change.
- Added the change from Glass Helmet Fix, which will prevent the ears of elven characters from clipping through the glass helmet.
- Added option to install Better Fitting Glass Helmet meshes (original meshes created by Abakus and modified by Bugsbugme).
- The Dark Brotherhood maskless Shrouded Cowl meshes have been replaced with an unused vanilla variant which has a short scarf around the neck and is closer in appearance to the original concept art. This applies only to the "maskless" version of the hood and only to non-beast races. If someone is willing to make a masked version of this mesh and/or add support for Khajiit and Argonians, please let me know!
- Added the option to install Dark Brotherhood Mask Fix (meshes created by Sundracon). This will make the Dark Brotherhood Masked Cowls actually show a mask for males and beast races. Maskless cowls will remain maskless.
- Created a version of the Executioner's Armor for females, and an alternate hood for females, elves, and beast races.
- Marked Executioner's Armor as playable, moved the changes made to this armor set in Clothing and Clutter Fixes to WAF.
- Adjusted LItemBlacksmithMineralsProcessed75, LItemMiscVendorMineralsProcessed25, and LItemLootIMineralsProcessed to reflect the "True Orcish" progression, making Orichalcum appear later in the list and making quicksilver appear earlier.
- Added missing enchanted versions of ancient nord bows & supple bows using the same progression as other weapons. Modified the LItemDraugr lists in order to make them consistent with the draugr 1H and 2H lists. Switched a couple of draugr actor templates which were using a missle class, but were being given melee weapons instead of bows.
- Moved the material keyword and stat changes for Miraak (mask) to optional "Dragon Priest Masks" file These changes had been added as part of the main file rather than added to the optional Dragon Priest Mask file. Obviously, the Legendary Plus file continues to contain these changes; it was just the partial/optional files that needed updating.
- Added "Hair" slot to Dragon Priest Masks. This prevents them from being worn on top of (and clipping with) other hoods when used with CCF or another mod which allows circlets to be worn with hoods.
- Fixed Footstep sound for FalmerBoots (changed from HeavyFootstep to BarefootFootstep).
- Changed WeapTypeSword keyword on Giant Clubs to WeapTypeMace (Frost Giant Club already used WeapTypeMace, the vanilla Giant Clubs used WeapTypeSword).
- Removed "Can be picked up" flag from exploding Dawnguard bolts, and carried over a couple of other changes from the Unofficial patch.
- Moved the "Tools & Materials" category change from CCF to WAF.
- Updated ICH files: The ICH optional Hoodless Dragon Priest Mask file is no longer being supported. Instead, two versions of the main ICH Legendary file have been created to support different WAF installs (with and without the WAF Dragon Priest Mask edits). I also added the circlet slot to the Dragon Priest masks in both ICH files since I don't feel that these masks should be wearable over circlets.
-
Version 5.1
- Removed VendorItemClothing keyword from the Dawnguard Vampire armors.
- Corrected spelling mistake in DLC1ArmorDawnguardCuirassLight3 ("with" Sleeves).
- Modified values for Shrouded Armor & TG Armor, and stats for the Blackguard Armor. Also changed the "regular" (lower-ranked) versions of Shrouded and TG Armors to get improvement bonus from Basic Smithing perk instead of Advanced.
- Updated a number of the "unique" items to reflect changes made to the generic base weapons
- Falmer weapons are now lighter than Dwarven, but do same damage as Elven. Honed Falmer weapons do same damage as Glass but weigh less (and benefit from Ebony perk). This brings the Falmer weapons more in line with the relative value of the Falmer armor.
- Changed Forsworn weapons to same damage as Dwarven but lighter (also made them faster than normal weapons). Also changed Hack & Slash and Limbsplitter perks to adjust for this change.
- Adjusted stats for many of the light armor items in order to be more consistent both among items of the same type and relative to other similar items.
- Tweaked the values for some of the shields. Also made Shield of Solitude and Auriel's Shield "light" and Dawnguard Rune Shield "heavy".
- Adjusted the weights for some of the light armor pieces in order to have a bit more difference between various items, and to more closely approximate the material/appearance distinction between items.
- Created new keyword "CraftingDisabledRecipe_WAF" and used this as workbench keyword on Morokei mask and Cultist Gloves temper recipes. Current conditions weren't hiding this recipe as intended.
- Fixed ThievesGuildLeaderCuirassAA (female first person was brown instead of black).
- Fixed world model for female guild leader boots (was gray variant, not black).
- Changed the summerset shadows armor to use gray variant of guild armor (similar to Linwe's, but with sleeves)
- Fixed brown "variant" Thieves Guild Hood... added normal to ground model so it wouldn't appear shiny.
- Added falmer supple bows to EncFalmer05Missile and DLC1EncFalmer06Missile.
- Added script that will replace the DBArmorWorn with the WornPlayable versions when picked up by the player (this is to avoid duplication with CCO recipes).
- Added missing VendorItemDaedricArtifact keyword to Zakriisos, Dukaan, and Miraak.
- Changed weapon Leveled Lists added by DLCs to reflect correct "True Weapons" progression.
- Changed Dawnguard shields to light shields instead of heavy, after further review I think this is most likely Bethesda's original intention.
- Lowered price of Chitin shield and adjusted some of the shield weights
- Altered the weight/damage for some of the Ancient Nord & Nord Hero weapons (and unique weapons based on these).
- Changed Skyforge weapons so they could be tempered using either Advanced Light or Advanced Heavy (if SPO is installed).
- Falmer Hardened Armor and Honed Weapons now gain improvement bonus from Ebony perk.
- Renamed generic weapons with Turn Undead enchantment.
- Patch update: (AMB SkyforgeWeap) Changed from patch file to replacement plugin.
- Patch update: (Immersive Weapons) adjusted keywords for consistency with WAF changes, and adjusted recipe conditions for consistency with CCO.
- Patch update: (Immersive Weapons) created "True Weapons" version, merged leveled list changes, so IW doesn't overwrite True Weapon changes, and swapped stats and leveled lists for Dwarven/Orcish/Elven Quartstaffs so they follow the correct progression.
-
Version 5.0
- Added smithing perk changes (previously included in Smithing Perks Overhaul) so that items with new and/or altered keywords will get the proper tempering bonuses regardless of whether or not SPO is installed.
- Vanilla Falmer armors changed to light armor. Falmer Heavy armors renamed "Falmer Hardened"; Falmer Hardened armors renamed "Falmer Heavy" so that Hardened is now higher rank than Heavy.
- Fixed SILVER category so it will now correctly appear in the crafting menu. Combined the Ancient Nord and Nordic into a single NORDIC crafting cateogory. Falmer items will now sort into the CHITIN category.
- Added keyword support so that the Nordic, Chitin, and Bonemold categories added by Dragonborn can be accessed without requiring Dragonborn dependency.
- Added Silver weapon script to Bloodskal Blade and Rueful Axe.
- Added various "Boots of Muffling" and "Helmets of Waterbreathing" from Dragonborn to the appropriate DLC2SublistEnchArmor_Boots/Helmets lists. These items existed in the CK, but hadn't been been correctly added to the leveled lists.
- Made corrections to the Dragonborn shield leveled lists. Bonemold and Nordic shields were on the light shield lists, and Chitin and Stalhrim had been placed in the heavy shield lists.
- Tweaked the stats for the Dawnguard Light Armors. These armors are visually different, so I've given them more specific names and adjusted their stats to reflect the apparent visual differences in their armor ratings.
- Changed the name of "Ancient Falmer" armors to "Snow Elf" armor as this name is more appropriate given the way these terms are used both in game and in lore.
- Minor adjustments to weights and values for various items.
- Added SPIKE-VE keywords to relevant Dawnguard and Dragonborn items, which allows the changes to guard comments from Guard Dialogue Overhaul to extend to the DLC-added armors and weapons.
- The different variations of the Thieves Guild armors (including Linwe & Summerset Shadows) can now be mixed and matched and still qualify for the Matching Set bonus (this is consistent with how other faction armors are handled).
- Altered Dragon Priest Masks from Dragonborn DLC to be consistent with changes made to other masks.
- Bleeding damage applied by the Hack & Slash and Limbsplitter perks has been tweaked for consistency, and Dragon and Daedric weapons now do different amounts of bleeding damage based on their rank, just like the other weapon materials.
- Updated patches. Added a new patch for Immersive Weapons, which also include CCO recipe conditions. Forwarded a couple of leveled-list edits from recent USKP update.
-
Version 4.0
- Corrected block & bash data on Nordic and Stalhrim battleaxe (removed incorrect edit).
- Changed keyword on ArmorBoneCrown from ArmorMaterialDaedric to Dragonplate.
- Added DaedricArtifact keyword to ClavicusVileMask
- Helm of Yngol no longer fulfills the Matching Set perk requirements when paired with Steel Plate armor. It now fulfills the Matching Set perk requirements when paired with either Ancient Nord or Nord Hero armor. (changed keyword from ArmorMaterialSteelPl
- he second version of the Blade of Woe (Astrid's) now matches the changes made to the reward version, so the two are now identical.
- Changed value & weight for Miraak's Sword, also tempering now benefits from Daedric perk
- Increased value of Bloodskal Blade. Also, it now requires the Advanced smithing perk to get the double tempering improvement.
- Increased armor rating on light Dawnguard boots from 8 to 9 to align better with where the rest of the armor set is relative to other sets.
- Changed Guard Shields from heavy to light armor (stats for these shields suggest they should be light, also the rest of the Guard armor is considered light). Increased weight to 4 (from 3).
- Decreased weight for Hide Shield (from 4 to 3), and increased value of Imperial Light Shield to (from 40 to 55).
- Changed weight, critical damage and material type for Bloodscythe and Soulrender. Tempering them now benefits from the Ebony Smithing perk rather than the Daedric Smithing perk.
- Increased the base price for the Dwarven Black Bow of Fate and the Glass Bow of the Stag Prince.
- Increased armor rating for General Tullius' and General Carius's cuirasses.
- Decreased weight for Stormcloak Officer Armor.
- Removed changes to Religious amulets, TGAmuletofArticulation and most other jewelry and clothing changes. These changes are now part of Clothing & Clutter Fixes.
- COMPLETE Version only: Warmaster perk = resolved conflict between changes made to this perk by Dawnguard and by Dragonborn
- Added SILVER as a new crafting menu category. Items with WeapMaterialSilver should now sort into this category.
- TRUE DAEDRIC: Edited the loadscreen that stated Dragonbone weapons are better than Daedric.
- TRUE ORCISH: The leveled lists for arrows now reflects the proper Dwarven -> Elven -> Orcish progression.
- TRUE ORCISH: Corrected a mistake I made in 3 leveled lists: "LItemWeaponSwordTown", "LItemWeaponBattleAxeTown", and "LItemWeaponDaggerTown" which were missing entries for Dwarven weapons.
- Released two new optional files: Dragon Priest Masks & Faster Arrows.
- Released a new combined file that includes all available options.
- Clothing & Clutter Fixes has now been fully released as Version 1.0 and given it's own description page.
-
Version 3.1
- Corrected leveled list "SublistEnchOrcishBattleaxeShock" so that the Orcish Battleaxe of Shock will actually appear in the game (this leveled list was referencing iron weapons instead).
- Carried over a few new changes from the latest Unofficial patch updates.
- Re-evaluated all Critical Damage values and adjusted these where it seemed appropriate. Many values are now being rounded down similar to USKP, but I still think some values make much more sense when rounded up (notibly the glass weapons).
- Added a new optional file to improve the consistency and gameplay balance of Orcish weapons.
-
Version 3.0 DB
- Added new Dragonborn file.
- General stat/value/bash/block/etc changes for Dragonborn items (the Unofficial Patch contains almost no fixes for Dragonborn weapons & armors).
- Repriced all of the generic enchanted Dragonborn armor & weapons...none of these reflected the correct base price of the item.
- Corrected Dragonborn Matching Set perk to give the correct 25% bonus (rather than 20%).
- Added Skaal armor to Matching Set perk.
- Nordic & Stalhrim axes now benefit from the Limbsplitter and Hack & Slash perks.
- Renamed Enchanted Chitin & Stalhrim armors to disguish between Light and Heavy versions.
- Renamed "Nordic Carved" to "Nordic" as this is consistent with the way the Weapons and the enchanted Nordic armors are named.
-
Version 3.0
- Separated Smithing Perks back into SPO.
- Separated Dawnguard fixes from main file.
- Corrected fortify Light Armor items that were mis-named "of the...Knight" to "of the...Squire"
- A few minor price adjustments (Scimitar, falmer, elven light, forsworn)
- Several other minor bugs found and fixed (thanks to haterequiredregisteration for pointing these out).
- Forsworn Axe & Briarheart Geis now benefit from the Hack & Slash perk.
-
Version 2.0
- Corrected issue with Daedric weapons not benefiting from Daedric perk.
- Introduced new integrated compatibility feature, making it easier for other mods to carry over keyword changes from Weapons & Armor Fixes.
-
Version 1.2
- Found and fixed a couple more minor bugs.
- Added an optional file that reverses the stats between Daedric and Dragonbone weapons.
-
Version 1.1
- Included perk changes from Smithing Perks Overhaul Remade.
- Added keyword to Guard outfits and added them to Matching set perk (perk will apply for any combination of guard armor).
- All Battleaxes now have a Loud detection level (they were Normal). This is consistent with the other 2H weapons.
- All Greatswords now have an increased speed of 0.8 (was 0.7).
- Changed the names of some armor variations to better disguish them in the menu views.
