Final Version 1.4 is out. including: -fixed 1stperson arms (nord armor 1st person added) - increased the Armor Rating to Orcish armor, I want to make it not OP (Ancient Nord Armor with Daedric stats? oh no please...)
Permision for fixes granted for those who have made some for personal use. Upload ONLY here on the NexusForum, nowhere else! Also this mod must be required and download first because a reupload is not allowed!
1st person fix:
step 1: download this file MANUALLY http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/2808
step 2: go into the following directionary: data\meshes\armor\yngol
step3: simply drag'n drop the mod you've just downloaded manually and replace my files with those mod files.
need to take a look into the new ck and finding some sort of porting tutorial. If I manage to succesful port a test version of one of my mods, then I'm gonna port atleast the armor of yngol, the credo overhaul and my marksmanarmor over to skyrim se nexus but definitively not over to beth.net.
Hi. It's a good mod. I found another bug with a space between a back of the hero and a sword (if you carry a sword behind). The same thing if you put a quiver of arrows on a back. is it possible to fix that? Thanks for the mod!
not a bug from this mod, trust me. the position of weapons and arrow/bolt quivers are "controled" by the skeleton.nif so you will have to find and install another mod that changes this skeleton.nif file. personally I'm using this one http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26800/? wich has a nice choice for some different positions too (like onehanded weapons on back for example).
By far the best armor in Skyrim. Really love it m8 thank you for doing it! Any chance for future updates? Fixing some problems in the legs area? ex. there is some clipping on the boots while you stand still, also running using W and A makes the waist fur look really weird (same happens with steel plate armor so its a game problem). Or of some retexturing the pants to match the torso a bit more?
Impressive armor, my friend. However, Bethesda really got the helm of Yngol on the wrong material category. All of the ancient nord armors fall into "deadric", while the helm falls into "steel plate" category, rendering the matched set perk useless. Perhaps you can change your modded armor into "steel plate" category?
Got a bug for the male version when I wear it there is a black circle on the neck like there's something missing on the texture/mesh, any idea on how to fix it. Anybody else got it or just bad install?
So, I just fixed the invisible arm for females bug for myself and uploaded it for anyone who wanted it. The original file is required, as per Witcher5688's permissions! Hope this helps somebody. I've tested it out ingame and it seems to work fine.
(Also, if Witcher5688 wants to just toss the file into the mod itself, that's also cool.)
sorry but no. the problem is that not every vanilla model has the possibility to become a customizable armor, the vanilla draugr armor is one of them- remove the pauldrons in nifskope and u'll see what I mean, a damn big hole :-/
I wished Ysgramor said something to the dragonborn in sovngarde when he wears the Yngol helm like "You wear my son's helmet be proud and wear it with honor"

I've successfully ported this to SSE - would you like me to send you a copy?
Just send me a pm with the download link. Of course I'll give you credits for the porting process
