It's me zero the other half of ArcZeroEssentials just letting you know that if you've recently been using steelfeather's Path of Sorcery, there was a patch file created by DrMonops that allows you to level up your skills through PoS's system. Please give DrMonops some love and visit his file here: Path of Sorcery Patches by DrMonops. He's planning on making future patches to other mods so give the Dr some love and endorse his file!
Anyhow, thank you all for your continued support. Druid Essentials is still on hiatus, but not forgotten. Arcane and I have been working on projects outside the realm of modding which has been preventing us to make updates to Druid Essential or releasing our Necromancer Essential mod. We do apologize for keeping you all in the dark, but I assure you you'll be hearing from us soon!
We are still thinking of this mod and we'll seriously consider revisiting it once we both have time. As soon as we complete our other priorities we will most likely release the long delayed update to DE as well as releasing our other unreleased mods that have been collecting dust.
I am happy to hear that this mod hasn't been forgotten, I look forward to this mod being updated and I also look forward to the necromancer essentials as well
I Know this sounds like a dumb, crazy question... but when you are ALL done with Druid and Necromancer Essentials, is there any way you could upload the mods to Skyrim SE? Just asking...
Thank you for this, I'm a huge fan and have been using this for a while, came back to find the elk mount yay! Just so you know, I also made a White Stag Mount, you could definitely incorporate it into your mod especially if you ported it to SSE, just message me, If you want to :-) Its here https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/86033 I intend to have both and have my follower ride one, no horses for this elf! lol
If you are experiencing a glitch where you enter or exit an area and you are further from the "door". The reason for that is you have too many followers. I am not sure how to fix this. I recommend a smaller army or releasing your animals.
In DE 2.0 we plan to make the animals able to be toggle on and off as followers. Will make it easier for you to customize your army and remove animals you deem unworthy.
Note: Have an Army of animals is fun, but it can cause weird stuff to happen. Amass an army at your own risk.
We are planning a revisit to Druid Essentials to make some changes and updates before releasing our Necromancer Essentials mod. A few features we plann to add. A better taming system instead of abusing our animal companions we find it much easier to just talk to them. We plan to make the update a Master File so others can create patches and compatibility updates (Get permission first). Adding a few spells as well as removing old ones and changing current ones. We feel as passive as druids are, fighting off Dark Druids is not easy, and if your Vine Grip does not do the work. Well pull out some bigger vines. A hint new spells... Rocks and Dirt. Also we would like to add a cross mod "mod" where if the user has both Druid and Necromancer Essentials installed they can play as a Dark Druid. Are way of saying "thanks for the support.
Adds 5 types of minions that can be summon at the cost of a corpse. Adds 21 unique spells for 5 schools of Necromantic Magic all Conjurable from the depth of the abyss. Bone, Blood, Plague, Revenant, and Death. Also adds a new player home, Armor and Weapons. Basically the Necromancer Equivalent of Druid Essentials.
So I looked into the Fenrir the Frost Wolf mod and it said that it would be part of this Essentials but I tried going to the cave Fenrir was suppose to be at but didn't see it. Is Fenrir not yet part of this essentials?
Hey, I just find your work and I find it amazing, also with this news of the Necromancer Essentials Project, I am really excited, also a suggestion would be if you could add some kind of ritual system to the NE mod when it comes out, like some kind of corpse preparation with altars and stuff, that would be pretty cool
Great mod, but the Druid Armour tooltips are very vague and ambiguous, but looking at Active Effects I can see what they do.
But the Cloak does nothing.
I also seem to have only a single armour set available at the Druid homestead. The notes say there should be two available, one Forests and one Beasts. One is meant for more Thiefly Druids.
this is a mixed mod as it mostly has bad points with a few redeeming features
the bad being the constant random spawning of the "dark druids" which cause serious lag / ctd's, the added "world trees", the sized of the "player home" and the misuse of space inside the "player home" (seriously no follower room or storage is a bad sign) but the outter seating almost makes up for it
the things that redeem it are the "hidden caves" (which acts as a better player home), some of the added armour and the Elk mount although not having a spell or location for it is annoying as is the fact it isnt recognised by the Conveniant Horses mod
a good mod if you can look past the flaws and the drop in frame rates each time the "dark druids" spawn in
because no one mod with scripts can be uninstaled without break your game code ...like someone who like modding skyrim would know about that while crying about ruin it game
You could try save editor->clean scripts..etc...there are some tools which can save your saves, also safety load and ctd fix mod, just dig in the search
before doing anything else make a seperate back-up copyof the skyrim data file then do the following:
what you do to uninstall without causing ctd's is: Firstly open the mod file and KEEP IT OPEN, secondly open the skyrim data file and KEEP IT OPEN, thirdly go through each file the mod data file includes aka meshes, texture and scripts looking in the corasponding skyrim data file to find the mod added additions, fourthly ONLY DELETE the mesh/ texture and script additions the mod adds as well as the added ESP and BSA files, fithly open the game and test if it launches/ runs the current save and repeat steps 1-4; if the ctd issue isnt fixed then the added mesh/ textires & scripts added by this mod arent the issue
its time consuming if the mod adds a lot of assets/ files to each section but doing it manually is the ONLY way to make sure you have removed everything the mod adds. using a mod manager to remove mod files is NOT recomended due to them skipping/ missing or just plainly removing files that share the same name as other mods. DONT use vortex because it does this a LOT and so does MO2; its why some mods "conflict" if using vortex or MO2 and while using those mod managers to "resolve" the issue it dosnt always work so doing it manually is the ONLY way to be 100% sure
I have been using this mod for a long time and love it. I am now developing a "dreamweaver" character and the effects of your vine grip spell are ideal to "put npc's into a dreamlike state ". However the effect is short lived - just a few seconds. I have looked in CK but cannot see and obvious way to increase the length if the "dazed" part of this spell (the vines are OK). If in fact this is possible could you let me know how to do it please. many thanks, regards.
